非常有意思的观点:
That’s why I’ve always had the fascination with all the glitches and weird edge cases and strangeness of AI. Because some of that is reflecting back whatever trash these things have been fed on.But it’s also genuinely presenting radically new ways of seeing the world that expands our view in ways that we don’t yet fully understand.
we often have quite some horrified reactions to them. But that’s just a failure of imagination.
Intelligence is relational. It’s not something that exists within bodies, but between them.
The very existence, even the idea of artificial intelligence, is a doorway to acknowledging multiple forms of intelligence and infinite kinds of intelligence, and therefore a really quite radical decentering of the human(人类真正彻底的去中心化,这句话很重要!), which has always accompanied our ideas about AI — but mostly incredibly fearfully.
(Ai)They’re survival tools of the present. I think all knowledge is that. We can and do use these things — processing knowledge over time. That’s how we get on. And we’ll continue to get on.(见下期内容)
