列斯手足連線較早前以問卷形式訪問了列斯港人關注的事項，並成功約見了兩位MP, 分別是Fabian Hamilton MP Leeds North East 以及 Alex Sobel MP Leeds North West. 會面中我們交代了港人關注的事項，如人身安全、言論自由、英國對香港政府的立場及制裁問題、MPF、就業、教育等各方面的議題。兩位MP 都表示支持港人及會跟進各項提出的議題，以下是兩位MP 的工作跟進：

Alex Sobel MP:
1. 已致函到Secretary of State for Home Office 關注BNO 有否與本地人士同樣的就業機會。
2. 已致函 Secretary of State for Work and Pension 查詢如何協助BNO 就業
3. 已致函 Treasury and Home Office Ministers 關於MPF 及 簽證問題
4. 承諾所有回覆將會盡快與我們分享
5. 表示樂意出席港人的活動，加強對港人社群的聯繫
6. 於昨日(13/7)國會辯論 Hong Kong Updates 中質詢Minister of State for Foreign Affairs 有關港人MPF 事宜：

Fabian Hamilton MP:
1. 他作為 Shadow Minister of Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, 強調理解港人對自身安全嘅擔憂，亦都強調政府應該對保護港人言論自由有更強硬立場同更多措施
2. 承諾定期與我們會面，了解香港人所遇到的問題。如有列斯朋友有需要亦可一同約見。
3. 承諾約見Special branch in West Yorkshire Police, 查詢關於人身安全及中共祕密警察等議題
4. 會致函相關Ministers 及 Shadow Ministers有關港人人身安全、旅遊證件、黎智英及其他政治檢控的案件等等議題
5. 會稍後就我們提出的問題給予正式答覆
6. 表示樂意出席港人的活動，如向港人解釋英國政治制度等，加強對港人社群的聯繫
7. 會致函 FCA 詢問有關香港人開銀行戶口的ethnicity的事宜
7. 會致函DoJ查詢有關DBS check exempt 良民證

有關於我們問卷收集到某些個人問題，如租賃樓宇、DBS checking、asylum seeking 等問題，兩位MP 都呼籲港人應與自己所屬選區的MP 聯絡，以便他們跟進。他們並不能代替非自己選區的區民跟進，所以大家請主動去聯絡MP 幫手！

原定明日舉行的《香港，畏懼之城：致我們失去的…》因天氣關係將作取消。

Hong Kong, City of Terror: All that we lost…

Nowadays, Hong Kong is facing threats from the National Security Law imposed abruptly by the CCP and the Hong Kong Government. There are numerous taboos and an atmosphere of fear prevailing throughout the region.

We are organising an exhibition on 29 July in Leeds City Centre to showcase the extensive losses experienced in Hong Kong as a result of the implementation of the National Security Law. The exhibition will cover various aspects including freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, freedom of speech, freedom of election, freedom of academia, and more. Our aim is to raise awareness among the local community about the suppression and infringement faced by the people of Hong Kong under the totalitarian government.

感謝港人沒有失去初心，無懼無畏，出席及參與今次展覽，使今次活動順利舉行。透過展覽，本地人了解到種種香港失去的自由，明瞭國安惡法下的香港不再跟從前一樣。感謝公眾的支持，響應參與英國國會公眾聯署：要求英國政府制裁違反《中英聯合聲明》的港共官員！一同向英國政府施加壓力，盡快制裁相關港共官員。

Under the suppressive National Security Law in Hong Kong,

The exhibition portrayed how the National Security Law has irreversibly changed Hong Kong. Thank you for supporting our petition urging sanctions against Hong Kong government officials who violated the "Sino-British Joint Declaration." Let's urge our government to take the right action and hold the Hong Kong government officials accountable for their evil acts.

Despite numerous losses, fury, persistence, and hope define our future!

Therefore, we will fight for freedom until our last breath!
