Subject: Urgent Appeal for Fair Recruitment Practices for Tigray Field Epidemiology Graduates

Dear Tigray Region Health Bureau, Tigray research institute, ministry of health, EPHI

I hope this message finds you in good health. I am writing to express deep concerns regarding the recruitment process for positions related to field epidemiology.

Many of these graduates face significant economic and socioeconomic challenges, which have been exacerbated by ongoing crises. Despite their qualifications and rigorous training, we are encountering barriers in the recruitment process that do not align with established educational standards.

It is vital for the growth and health of our communities that we graduates are given equitable opportunities based on our profession and skills. We urge the Tigray Region Health Bureau, Tigray research institute, ministry of health and EPHi to address these recruitment issues and implement practices that recognize and support the talents of our local graduates.

By doing so, we can not only alleviate the economic struggles faced by these individuals but also enhance our public health response in the region.

Thank you for your attention to this pressing matter. I look forward to your commitment to ensuring fair and just recruitment practices.
