Message of condolences
On behalf of the entire Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences on the passing of Dr. Tezera Chaka.
Dr. Tezera was a founding member of our society, ESOT, and a guiding light for so many in the field of Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery.
Decades back, his vlinical service started in Keren (Eritrea) during the civil war period. He was a long-years serving clinician, researcher, teacher, a dedicated mentor, and a man of unshakeable principles and professional ethics. His commitment to serving our country was truly admirable, and his contributions to our field will be felt for generations to come.
We will fondly remember him as our storyteller, a man who shared his knowledge and experiences with passion and wisdom. His departure will be deeply missed within our society, but his shining legacy remains with us.
In this difficult period, we are thinking of his family & relatives. We will kindly offer our unwavering support.

His memorial services will be tomorrow at 12pm, at kidiste silasie cathedral church 4 kilo.

እጣ ፈንታ ወይስ ምርጫ
ነገሮች ለምን እንዲህ ሆኑ ብለን የጠየቅንባቸው እልፍ አላፍ ኹነቶች በህይወታችን አልፈዋል፡፡ ምንም እንኳን ለምን? ለምን? ለሚለው እሽክርክሪትን እሚያስቆምልንን ታኮ ከሀይማታዊ ፣ ከፍልስፍና ፣ ከባህል ትሁፊቶቻችን እንዲሁም ከህይወት ልምድ ባገኘናቸው መልሶች እየመለስን፤ አሊያም ደግሞ ሳይመለስልን ከ "ለምን ለምን ለምን ?" እሽክርክሪት ጋር እየተገላበጥን የቀጠልን ስንቶቻችን ነን ?
ድምፃዊ ዝሪቱ ከበደ " የእኔም አይን አይቷል " በሚለው ዘፈኗ ለምን ለሚል ጥያቄዋ
ኦ… ምን አለፋኝ መልሱ ከጠፋኝ
እሱ አይሳሳት ሁሉም በምክንያት
የኔም አይን አይቷል እሱ ያወራው
ሰሪ አይበልጥም ወይ ኦኦ… ከተሰራው ብላ እንደመለሰችው ፡፡
በህይወት እሽክርክሪት ምክንያት ብዙዎቻችን ከትውልድ ቄዬያችን እርቀን እንገኛለን፡፡ ነገር ግን ይህው አሽክርክሪት ባሰብነው አሊያም ባላወቅነው አጋጣሚ ወደ ቄያችን ሲመልስን ብዙ ነገሮች ተለውጠው ይጠብቀናል ፡፡ ይህን ጉዳይ ያነሳሁት አንድ በጎረቤታችን ኬኒያ የተፈጠረን ኹነት ላጋረቹ ስለወደድኩ ነው ፡፡
ፓትሪክ እና ዋንጃ የልጅነት ጓደኛሞች ናቸው ፤ በመሀል ለ15 አመት ተለያይተው ሲገናኙ ህይወት በተለያየ አቅጣጫ ሰዳቸው ነበር፡፡ ከ15 አመት ብኋላ ወደ ትውልድ ሀገሯ የተመለሰችው ዋንጃ ከእለታት በአንድ ቀን ወደ ሱፐር ማርኬት በመሄድ ላይ ሳለች የሆነ ሰው ስሟን ደጋግሞ ጮክ ብሎ ሲጠራት ወደተጠራችበት አቅጣጫ አማተረች፡፡ አንድ ሰውነቱ የገረጣ፣ የተቀዳደ ልብስ የለበሰ እና ጫማ ያልተጫማ ሰው ተመለተች፡፡ በጣም እስክትቀርበው ድረስ መንነቱን መለየት አልቻለችም ነበር፡፡
የአደንዛዥ እፅ ሱስ ባመጣበት የአዕምሮ መታወክ የተነሳ የሚጠሉት እና እሚጠየፉት የልጅነት ጓዷ "ፓትሪክ ነኝ ሰላም ልልሽ ነው እምፈልገው ፤ ሌላ ምንም አልፈልግም" አላት፡፡ የልጅነት ጓደኛዋ እና አብሮ አደጓን በፍፁም በእንዲህ አይነት ሁኔታ አገኛዋለው ብላ አለሰበችም፡፡ እሷ እና ሌሎች አብሮ አደግ ጓደኞቹ በመተባበር ፓትሪክን ከገባበት የአደንዣዥ እፅ ሱስ በአንድ የማገገሚያ ተቋም በማስገባት የፓትሪክን ሕይወት በዚህ መልክ ቀይረዋል፡፡ እርሶ ይህ አይነት ገጠመኝ የሎትምን ምንስ አድርገዋል??
ኬናንሲ ልዩ የአዕምሮ ህክምና የክረምት በጎ አድራጎት ፕሮግራምን ምክንያት በማድረግ ለአንድ ወር የሚቆይ ቅናሽ አድርጎ ይጠብቆጣል ፡፡
ድሬደዋ ከኦርቢት ወደ ውስጥ ገባ ብሎ ከማሪያም ሰፈር /ቤት ጎን
አይምሮን መንከባከብ ፤ ህይወትን መገንባት !!!

Ayder referral Hospital CHS, Ayder Specialized Hospital-MU recently had the privilege of hosting Dr. Henar Souto Romero and Dr. Jaime Rodríguez de Alarcón, who are renowned pediatric surgeons from Madrid, Spain, in addition to Dr. Ernesto Martínez García , a pediatric anesthesiologist.
Their expertise greatly benefited our surgical teams through collaborative discussions of complex cases and innovative surgical techniques, especially minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Henar's presentation on Botox injections for giant omphalocele cases was particularly insightful, offering a promising approach for our high volume of such cases.
This week marked a significant milestone for our unit, and I am pleased to report that I had the privilege of successfully performing my first laparoscopic Stephen Fowler orchidopexy alongside the team. This experience has been invaluable.
Thank you for your lessons, and we eagerly anticipate your next visit.
