J and Mary Anna discuss life as SAHMs juggling a small business and offer advice and tidbits for other young women and moms looking to do the same to help supplement their family's income.

Ingredients:
•2 cups dried organic elderberries
•4 cups cold water (distilled, purified, or spring water works best)
•2-3 tsp. dried ginger root
•2 cinnamon sticks
•1 cup raw, local honey

Directions:
1. Combine berries and herbs with cold water in pot and bring to a boil.
2.Reduce heat and allow herbs to simmer 30 to 40 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and let steep 1 hour.
4. Strain berries and herbs using a funnel overlaid with doubled cheesecloth or undyed cotton muslin bag and squeeze out liquid. Discard used herbs in compost.
5. Once liquid has cooled to just above room temperature, add honey and stir to incorporate.
6. Bottle in sterilized glass and store in the refrigerator.

I think it turned out alright. I decided to keep the green background as is because I liked the texture of the paper.

This is my submission for the “Mystical” theme of March. It’s the Greek orphic egg at the center of the Thema Mundi surrounded by some flowers which symbolize the blossoming life of spring.

It’s hard to believe it’s been over 3 years since releasing this song.

It's a new month, which means it's time for a new theme!

Our April 2024 theme is going to be florals. You can do landscape, still life, close up, portraits, whatever... just include florals! They're always fun and beautiful and very seasonally appropriate this time of year.
