World Chocolate Day 2021 or International Chocolate Day is celebrated around the world on July 7. The day is an annual global celebration of chocolate, which allows people to gorge and indulge, hopefully guilt-free, in it. On this day, chocolate lovers from all over relish eating different kinds of chocolate or create several dishes with it like cakes, pastries, sinful and gooey brownies, hot chocolate or chocolate mousse, without any guilt. Apart from that people also gift their loved ones their favourite chocolates to tell them how special they are.

World Chocolate Day was first celebrated in the year 2009. However, some even believe that people started marking July 7 as International Chocolate Day because it was the day when chocolate was first introduced to Europe in 1550. There are several kinds of chocolate, and each type is loved by many around the world, be it in the form of milk or dark chocolate or chocolate ice cream or chocolate cake. Moreover, chocolate, aside from being mouth-watering, has several health benefits. It is considered a mood enhancer, aphrodisiac, powerful source of antioxidants, helps protect your skin against the sun by acting as a sunscreen, and so much more.

🟠🔴اشتباهات رايج گرامرى داوطلبان آيلتس چيست و ما چگونه از انها جلوگيرى كنيم؟
🔵مبحث امروز: There is/ There are
✅از there استفاده ميكنيم براى انكه بگوييم چيزى وحود دارد. از there is با فاعل مفرد و از there are با فاعل جمع استفاده ميشود.
📌There is an oak tree in my garden. (not it is an oak tree or There have an oak tree)
📌There are some great movies on at the cinema. (not They are some great movies)
✅از there is و there are براى دادن اطلاعات جديد استفاده ميشود.
✅از it is يا they are براى چيزى كه قبلا به ان اشاره شده استفاده ميكنيم. براى مقايسه دقت كنيد:
📌There is a present for you on the table. ( present اولين بار است كه به اشاره شده است)
📌Mary: What is that you're carrying?
John: It's a present for my sister. (it = چيزى كه جان در حال حمل كردن ان است)
💡از افعال كمكى مثل do براى ساخت سوال و جملات منفى با there is و there are استفاده نميشود:
📌Are there any clean glasses in the cupboardThere isn't a map in the car.
واژه There نمى تواند جا بيوفتد از جمله:

🔵مبحث امروز: There is/ There are
✅از there استفاده ميكنيم براى انكه بگوييم چيزى وحود دارد. از there is با فاعل مفرد و از there are با فاعل جمع استفاده ميشود.

🟠🔴رايتينگ تسك 2 ايلتس: اتكاى زياد از حد به لينكرها (متصل كننده ها)
🔴برخى از داوطلبان ايلتس بيش از حد از كلمات متصل كننده استفاده ميكنند. اگر همه ى جملات با يك كلمه ى لينكينگ (مثل furthermore, moreover, firstly, ...)شروع شود، رايتينگ به نظر خيلى غير طبيعى ميرسد و احتمالا نمره اى بيشتر از 6 براى انسجام و پيوستگى (coherence and cohesion ) كه 25% نمره كل رايتينگ را شامل ميشود، كسب نميشود.
🔴نقطه مقابل اين اشتباه، به كار نبردن هيچ كلمه ى لينكر است. از اين كار هم بايد خوددارى شود. فقط نيتيو ها يا كسانى كه در كاربرد زبان حرفه اى هستند براى نمره 9 ميتوانند از كلمات لينكر استفاده نكنند.
☑️ولى براى عمده ى زبان اموزان، متن رايتينگ بايد به اعتدال در به كار بردن اين كلمات برسد و هدف استفاده از اين كلمات را چيزى مابين دو مورد بالا قرار دهند.
از اين كلمات طورى استفاده كنيد كه متن طبيعى به نظر برسد. زياد از حد از انها استفاده نكنيد چرا كه با استفاده بيشتر از انها، قرار نيست روى اگزمينر تاثير بيشترى بگذارد يا به صورت جادويى به زبان اموز نمره اضافه كند!

In the previous lesson, you learned collocations with pay involving money. Here are some collocations with pay that have nothing to do with money:

✅pay someone a compliment = give someone a compliment
