Changes in the new law "On Advertising"

The new law "On Advertising" signed on June 7 of this year entered into force in September. In it, it is said that advertising in the territory of Uzbekistan will be distributed in the state (Uzbek) language. There were also a number of other changes.

⛔️ The following are prohibited:

🍼 advertising products that replace breast milk;

💵 display prices (tariffs) in foreign currency;

🗣 use of forms, phrases and images that contradict national and family traditions, as well as generally accepted norms of morality and spirituality;

🥤 advertisement of energy drinks on television and radio from 7:00 to 22:00;

🚭 advertising of tobacco products and devices for consumption of tobacco and nicotine;

💊 the participation of celebrities, medical personnel or persons whose appearance is similar to the appearance of doctors in the advertising of medicinal products;

🍷 advertising of alcohol products.
