1. quite familiar with the city life, have been living in the city for a while. Spending time on a beach sounds more exciting cause I've never been to one.
2. have a very tight schedule at present. So, sick of hectic life. I would love to have a holiday where nobody makes me rush to do anything. And then I'd finally have a peace of mind, ig.
3. There is no such thing as a perfect holiday, I believe. I mean it is always possible to face some unexpected challenges on the way. But If I have to think of a perfect holiday, I would say it is the one far from all the hustle and bustle of the city life.
4. I can't say my last holidays were great, really. they were rather short, and not really full of entertainment. Yet I vaguely remember those summer holidays when I was a schoolboy. Those 3-months long holidays would give me so much energy that I'd be eager to start another academic year.

1. Why do people choose to build houses by themselves?
Well, there are a couple of reasons. First, when people build their own houses, they can customize every detail to match their preferences, from the layout to the materials. It gives them a sense of control and satisfaction. Another reason is cost; in some cases, managing the construction themselves can be cheaper than buying a ready-made property. And of course, for some people, itβs more about emotional valueβthey feel a stronger connection to a home theyβve personally designed and built.

2. Do you think a cityβs buildings affect its vibe or atmosphere?
Absolutely. Buildings play a huge role in shaping how a city feels. For example, historic architecture can create a sense of charm and tradition, while modern skyscrapers give off a more dynamic, futuristic vibe. Even the colors and materials used in construction influence peopleβs moods. So, yes, the architectural style directly impacts how residents and visitors experience the cityβs atmosphere.

3. Should old buildings be preserved?
Yes, I believe old buildings should definitely be preserved, at least the ones with historical or cultural significance. They tell stories about the past and give a city its unique identity. Of course, it can be expensive to maintain them, but the cultural value often outweighs the cost. However, I think preservation should be balanced with development; not every old building needs to be kept if it no longer serves any purpose.

Human nature or Wrong Mindset?
Most students, if not all, are overly ambitious about their goals, in this case, their results. A question I always give to a newcomer is "what is your target score and when do you wanna take the test?". And guess what?! They almost all the time claim totally unrealistic achievements within a very short period of time. Well, as a teacher, I have my own approach for such students: let them join your classes saying they can do it and as time goes by, they will realize good things take time.
Yet my question is "are students so ambitious by nature or just blindfolded by so many good results achieved by students who never share the actual story behind this kinda accomplishment.
Either way, dear students OPEN your eyes. Things are not as easy as they look.
What do you, guys, think the main factor is?

Surprisingly enough, nobody is talking about the brutal guy who dared to leave this bottle ripped out here and me being the victim. Poor me.

One of the best things you can do for the READING section is to constantly make a "Table of Synonyms", which not only enriches your vocab bank eventually, but also pushes you to analyze every single question (why you got them right or wrong).
That is what I make my students do. The problem is most of them still screw up in reading. You know why? Cuz they see it as a chore rather than a real solution to their problem.π

What percentage of your life do you think is within your control?
Not asking what percentage SEEMS to be in your control or CAN be in your control? Genuinely, ask yourself "What percentage of my life do I control right now?"
I know, I know it depends on what I mean by "control''. "Control" basically refers to "how free are you?", "Are the choices you are making YOUR choices?", "Do you have the power to make shifts in your life and move towards your goals?"
