Wouldn't take it for granted, because the article denotes that the subsidiary will have the same character as Japan USA and Latam subsidiaries. It will be focusing on merging the "kpop strategy" with the Indian music market alike Katseye in the US (direct reference from the article). So far none of the international subsidiaries made any major changes for BTS and our order of things. BTS is still signed exclusively to BigHit and by extension to HYBE Korea ("hybe core" corp).

Still, things might change and HYBE might become more UMG-like, where local divisions are responsible for promoting releases of the leading artists in the whole corporation. Interestingly, just few days ago HYBE announced they will reward RSU bonus also to employees in international subsidiaries, to boost morale ahead of BTS comeback. Basically hinting that these overseas employees might be involved in the curve of BTS group comeback too.
Anyway, while it's all speculating, a bit more likely is that HYBE will launch some relationship with local Indian companies, such as event organizers or retail chains that could be selling albums they would import in a reformed global distribution

That being said, reminder that BTS was coming to India with MOTS tour, precovid, years ahead any plans India subsidiary, before HYBE even existed actually. So regardless if the subsidiary helps or not, India has a good chance for a tour date
