Sirens have been activated multiple times across Israel over the past year due to barrages of rockets and missiles from Iran.

IDF Spokesperson confirms:
The Israeli Air Force has begun a wave of strikes on military targets in Tehran.

The IDF is currently carrying out an unprecedentedly powerful strike on regime targets and governmental oppression bodies in the heart of Tehran. For every attack on the Israeli home front, the Iranian dictator will be punished, and the strikes will continue with full force.

State television broadcast in Iran was interrupted due to the Israeli strikes in Tehran.

The IDF struck the entrances of Evin Prison, where Iranian regime opponents are held — the goal: to enable political prisoners and dissidents to escape. It has been reported that the prisoners there suffered horrific daily abuse by the Iranian regime.

A strike targeted the Iranian Revolutionary Guards headquarters in the city of Karaj, located in Alborz Province, west of Tehran. As noted, the strikes are also taking place outside of Tehran.

Report from Iran: The sites attacked today by Israel are under heavy guard to prevent the distribution of videos or photos. The number of casualties is extremely high.

Interesting: Iran chose to retaliate by targeting the largest American base in the Middle East — Al-Udeid in Qatar.
It will be interesting to see how Trump responds to this.
