For a time, I prayed for Dad’s healing. Then, after seeing the devastation of cancer, I finally prayed that God take him Home.
Ten hours later, Dad passed.

1) God’s timing is perfect
2) Persevering in tribulation is glorious
3) In Christ, death has no sting
4) Prayers are always answered (not usually as expected)

When God says something, He doesn't encourage interpretation. He expects obedience.
Our society is slathered in anti-God presuppositions, in that, we believe so thoroughly that we INTERPRET the Scriptures, but the Scriptures tell us that it is God's Spirit that tells us what it means (1 Cor 2:8-16).
When we have "doctrinal disputes", that is evidence of these clashing philosophies/interpretations, but more importantly, it is evidence that God's will is not central to the issue.
Much destruction has been done to the body of Christ with the lie of interpretation & the smart philosophy of "exegesis" and/or "hermeneutic."
