They still had everything closed off around the white house for the event being held. I tried to get close but the streets were shut down.

The city is soooo packed today. Tons of people and no issues that Ive seen whatsoever. The lines to get within the fenced in areas are super long. Ive decided to stay outside and have got probably one of the clearest spots you can get to watch the parade and video when its time. Its def tricky here today. See y'all in a bit❤
The parade starts at 6 :30. Theres supposed to be a flyover and then fireworks at 9:10. Im just chillin under a tree mindin muh own beezwax enjoying all the people until it begins. Thought Id post the schedule so everyone knows.❤

There was a vid before this of the beginning of the parade but it was horrible. It was an EXCELLENT location but as soon as the parade started the SS all stood across the road so no one could see a dayum thing. Its was pretty disappointing how it was all set up to be honest. There were only a couple of all areas where you could actually view the actual parade and not on the jumbo screen. I wound up going on the other side of the district and found a small area to watch it and its was the perfect area for the squirrels at the end. Many many people were unable to view the parade itself. Only a small amount were. The video is an hour long so it will take me an hour to screenrecord it and a half hour to upload it and Im absolutely beat and dont think I can stay up that long. That heat and all the walking wore me out. I will do that one early in the morning and upload it. Its was absolutely carzy there today.

It wa a a shame that there was such limited viewing areas to see the actual parade itself when the route was miles long. And the areas you could see it unfortunately had to be through riot fencing. This is sadly where our country is. There were a lot of disappointed people who traveled to witness this spectacular event. The flyovers at the end of this were the highlight of my day and made it all worthwhile. Today Ill find a video and rewatch the entire thing.

Guys Im here in DC but not gonna do a live today. The no parking is still in effect. Its rainy and yucky and I am in an incredible amount of pain today so my walking is not good at all. I did however wanna make a quick peek around to see whats up. I know people were expecting much more out of this weekend but its going back to business as usual very quickly. Im sorry if youre disappointed. Remember how much has already happened here in DC. Ive taken some pics and will make some posts when I get home to tell you what things look like here. They have already removed a great deal of the fencing everywhere. Theres still a small amount by the WH area and just some going way down Independence Ave toward where the military vehicles were kept. Everywhere else is already gone. They are working today in the rain removing whats left.
