Liverpool and Portugal forward Diogo Jota and his brother have tragically died in a road accident in Zamora, Spain, according to reports.

The story was first reported by the prestigious Marca newspaper and has since spread worldwide. Jota was just 28 years old and had gotten married only a few days ago.

The striker was travelling with his brother Andre, also a footballer, by car to England when they had an accident in Zamora.
