Moldova Hosted Its First Kurash Championship

🇲🇩On August 30, 2025, a bright and significant chapter was opened in the history of the Moldovan Kurash Federation. For the first time in the country’s history, the Moldova Kurash Championship among both cadets and seniors was held in the city of Călărași. A total of 130 skilled Kurash athletes from 10 regions of the country competed for victory.

🏆This championship became not only a symbol of the growing popularity of Kurash in Moldova, but also an important step toward shaping a new generation of athletes. Every match on the Kurash arena was remembered for the participants’ courage, mastery, and determination.

🎙The opening ceremony of the championship was organised at a high level. Among the honored guests were the Mayor of Călărași, Mr. Victor Ambroci, and the President of the Moldovan Kurash Federation, Mr. Mihail Fistican.
During the ceremony, the Federation’s president addressed all the participants, emphasising that the main goal of this championship was to select the national team for the upcoming World Kurash Championship this year.

📌The initiative undertaken by the Moldovan Kurash Federation will definitely serve to increase interest in Kurash in the country and contribute to its wider promotion.

В Молдове состоялся первый чемпионат по Кураш

🇲🇩30 августа 2025 года открылась яркая и значимая страница в истории Федерации Кураш Молдовы. Впервые в истории страны в городе Калараш прошёл чемпионат Молдовы по Кураш среди кадетов и взрослых. За победу боролись 130 опытных курашистов из 10 регионов страны.

🏆Этот чемпионат стал не только символом растущей популярности Кураш в Молдове, но и важным шагом на пути к формированию нового поколения спортсменов. Каждый поединок на арене Кураш запомнился мужеством, мастерством и целеустремлённостью участников.

🎙Церемония открытия чемпионата была организована на высоком уровне. Среди почётных гостей были мэр Калараша Виктор Амброч и Президент Федерации Кураш Молдовы Михаил Фистикан. Во время церемонии Президент Федерации обратился ко всем участникам, подчеркнув, что главной целью этого чемпионата является формирование национальной сборной для предстоящего в этом году Чемпионата мира по Кураш.

📌Инициатива Федерации Кураш Молдовы, безусловно, послужит повышению интереса к Кураш в стране и будет способствовать его более широкому продвижению.

The First KUSEA Beach Kurash Championship Concludes in Lombok

🇮🇩Indonesia’s tropical paradise — the island of Lombok, famous for its golden sands, steady waves, and breathtaking nature that captivate travelers from around the world — witnessed a historic sporting event today on Senggigi Beach.

🔰It was here that a new chapter in the history of Southeast Asian Kurash was opened. On the shores of Lombok, the historic 1st KUSEA Beach Kurash Championship and the 2nd KUSEA Championship were successfully held.

The competition brought together more than 150 athletes, coaches, and officials from seven Southeast Asian countries. The championship showcased not only the test of skill but also the true spirit of Kurash as a symbol of friendship, solidarity, and respect.

🎙As tradition dictates, prior to the championship, the regular KUSEA Congress was held in the conference hall of the Sheraton Hotel. The Congress was chaired by KUSEA President Mr. Pulsak Satchathamnukul.

During the meeting, the President of the Indonesia Kurash Federation, Mr. Hafil Fudin, delivered a report on the preparations. Organizational issues were also discussed, and the mandates of Mr. Pulsak Satchathamnukul as President and Ms. Susan Cheah as Secretary General were extended for another year. Additionally, Mr. Alvin Lim, the head of the Singapore Kurash Federation, was introduced as the Treasurer of KUSEA.

❗️Another important decision was made at the Congress — the 2026 KUSEA Championship will be held in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

According to the competition program, the first day was dedicated to matches among juniors and cadets. The final day of the championship was marked by captivating beach Kurash contests.

🏆Winners and runners-up were awarded diplomas, medals, and commemorative gifts in their respective categories.

На Ломбоке завершился первый чемпионат KUSEA по пляжному Кураш

🇮🇩Тропический рай Индонезии — остров Ломбок, известный своими золотистыми песками, спокойными волнами и захватывающей дух природой, пленяющей путешественников со всего мира, — стал свидетелем исторического спортивного события на пляже Сенггиги.

🔰Именно здесь открылась новая глава в истории Кураш Юго-Восточной Азии. На берегу Ломбока успешно прошли исторические первый и второй чемпионаты KUSEA по пляжному Кураш.

В соревнованиях приняли участие более 150 спортсменов, тренеров и официальных лиц из семи стран Юго-Восточной Азии. Чемпионат продемонстрировал не только мастерство, но и истинный дух Кураш как символа дружбы, солидарности и уважения.

🎙По традиции, перед чемпионатом в конференц-зале отеля Sheraton состоялся очередной конгресс KUSEA. Конгресс провёл Президент Федерации Кураш Индонезии (KUSEA) Пулсак Сатчатхамнукул.

В ходе заседания Президент Федерации Кураш Индонезии Хафил Фудин выступил с отчётом о ходе подготовки. Были также обсуждены организационные вопросы, а полномочия Президента Пулсака Сатчатхамнукула и Генерального Секретаря Сьюзан Чиа были продлены ещё на один год. Кроме того, глава Федерации Кураш Сингапура Элвин Лим был представлен в качестве казначея KUSEA.

❗️На Конгрессе было принято ещё одно важное решение: чемпионат KUSEA 2026 года пройдёт в Чиангмае, Таиланд.

Согласно программе соревнований, первый день был посвящён состязаниям среди юниоров и кадетов. Заключительный день чемпионата ознаменовался захватывающими состязаниями по пляжному Кураш.

🏆Победители и призёры были награждены дипломами, медалями и памятными подарками в своих категориях.
