Welcome to the next “Kurash Coaching and Refereeing” course

♻️“Behind the success of any athlete is a knowledgeable and experienced coach.”
Based on this principle, the International Kurash Institute will launch its fourth three-month online course on “Kurash Coaching and Refereeing” on August 1, 2025. This program is organized under the guidance of the International Kurash Association in cooperation with the State University of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

📚This online course has been successfully organized three times, during which nearly 100 participants from more than 20 countries received International certificates.
They not only gained theoretical knowledge on modern educational platforms but also strengthened their potential during practical training sessions in Tashkent.

🌱The program was developed by leading professors and experts from the International Kurash Institute and the State University of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Course participants will be taught a wide range of topics, including philosophy, history, theory, modern training techniques, refereeing rules, sports anatomy, psychology, and doping.
After all online classes, practical sessions will be held in Tashkent from October 22 to 29. Participants will demonstrate their knowledge through practical exams, presentations, and interviews. Those who successfully complete the course will receive an Internationally Recognized Coaching Certificate from the State University of Sports.

❗️At the end of the course, there is also an opportunity to take part in IKA Level A and B coaching exams.

♻️«За успехом любого спортсмена стоит знающий и опытный тренер».
Исходя из этого принципа, Международный Институт Кураш 1 августа 2025 года запустит свой четвертый трехмесячный онлайн-курс «Тренерство и судейство по Кураш». Данная программа организована под руководством Международной Ассоциации Кураш совместно с Государственным университетом физической культуры и спорта Республики Узбекистан.

📚Этот онлайн-курс был успешно организован трижды, в ходе которого около 100 участников из более чем 20 стран получили международные сертификаты.
Они не только получили теоретические знания на современных образовательных платформах, но и укрепили свой потенциал на практических занятиях в Ташкенте.

Программа разработана ведущими профессорами и экспертами Международного Института Кураш и Государственного университета физической культуры и спорта Республики Узбекистан. Участникам курса будет преподаваться широкий спектр тем, включая философию, историю, теорию, современные методики тренировок, правила судейства, спортивную анатомию, психологию и допинг.
После всех онлайн-занятий с 22 по 29 октября в Ташкенте пройдут практические занятия. Участники продемонстрируют свои знания с помощью практических экзаменов, презентаций и собеседований. Те, кто успешно завершит курс, получат международно признанный тренерский сертификат от Государственного университета спорта.

📍Manon Madec, a correspondent for the famous French magazine "Holiday", an experienced journalist in the field of tourism and culture, visited the International Kurash Association.

🔰The guest was welcomed by the IKA Secretary General Mohammad Reza Nassiri and the Head of the IKA Administration Mansur Mirzaev. During the meeting, Ms. Madec was provided with detailed information about the historical roots of Kurash, the geography it covers today, and the IKA’s fields of activity.

IKA athletes sanctioned for violating doping rules

💉Ensuring fairness and transparency in Kurash, protecting athletes’ health, and the fight against doping are among the important tasks facing the International Sports Community. For this purpose, the International Kurash Association (IKA) and the International Testing Agency (ITA) regularly conduct control measures in order to provide a clear and clean sport.
In this regard, recent analyses have revealed that two well-known athletes have violated doping rules.

🇰🇿A sample taken from the well-known Kazakh kurash athlete, 2023 World Champion and former judoka Abilkaiyr Maulenin at the final stage of the World Series Pro competition on December 17, 2024, tested positive for the banned anabolic steroid exogenous testosterone.
As is well known, testosterone is included in section S1.1 of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) list — Anabolic Androgenic Steroids, which is a prohibited substance in any case. This substance gives the athlete an unfair advantage by artificially increasing muscle mass and physical strength.
Abilkaiyr Maulenin is currently provisionally suspended from competition and has the right to request analysis of sample B. If sample B also tests positive or if he refuses analysis, it will be officially recorded as a doping violation. The case is being handled by the ITA. The athlete also reserves the right to appeal the provisional suspension.

♻️As a result if the B sample is not requested for , Abilkaiyr Maulenin may lose his gold medal, certificate, and prize money. It is worth noting that a total of 15 participants were tested for doping at this competition.

🇪🇬In another case, Egyptian athlete Mariam Hamdi Mostafa was suspended for two years after furosemide was detected in a sample she submitted during the African Championships in Cairo on July 9, 2023.
Furosemide is a diuretic and masking agent listed as a permanently banned substance in section S5 of the WADA. It is often used by athletes to achieve short-term weight loss or to conceal other banned substances.

💉Обеспечение справедливости и прозрачности в Кураш, защита здоровья спортсменов и борьба с допингом являются одними из важных задач, стоящих перед международным спортивным сообществом. Для этого Международная Ассоциация Кураш (IKA) и Международное агентство тестирования (ITA) регулярно проводят контрольные мероприятия, чтобы обеспечить прозрачный и чистый вид спорта.
В этой связи недавние анализы показали, что два известных спортсмена нарушили правила допинга.

🇰🇿Образец, взятый у известного казахстанского спортсмена по Кураш, чемпиона мира 2023 года и бывшего дзюдоиста Абилкайыра Мауленина на финальном этапе соревнований World Series Pro 17 декабря 2024 года, дал положительный результат на запрещенный анаболический стероид экзогенный тестостерон.
Как известно, тестостерон включен в раздел S1.1 списка Всемирного антидопингового агентства (WADA) — Анаболические андрогенные стероиды, что в любом случае является запрещенным веществом. Это вещество дает спортсмену несправедливое преимущество за счет искусственного увеличения мышечной массы и физической силы.
Абилкайыр Мауленин в настоящее время временно отстранен от соревнований и имеет право запросить анализ образца B. Если образец B также даст положительный результат или если он откажется от анализа, это будет официально зафиксировано как нарушение допинга. Дело рассматривается ITA. Спортсмен также оставляет за собой право обжаловать временное отстранение.
♻️В результате, если образец B не будет запрошен, Абилкайыр Мауленин может потерять свою золотую медаль, сертификат и призовые деньги. Стоит отметить, что в этом соревновании на допинг были проверены в общей сложности 15 участников.
