Kurash is included in the program of the 3rd Asian Youth Games Hurry up to register!

🇧🇭September 15, 2025, in accordance with the decision of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and the Bahrain Asian Youth Games Organizing Committee (BAYGOC), the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has officially announced that Kurash will be included in the program of the III Asian Youth Games.

💫This decision aims to instill respect for the ancient sporting traditions of Asia’s peoples, promote a healthy lifestyle among young people, and expand the games’ program.

The Kurash competitions will be held in four weight categories: boys: -65 kg and -83 kg, girls: -52 kg and -70 kg.

The International Kurash Association (IKA) considers this decision to be clear evidence of the growing recognition of Kurash as a sport on the International stage.

🤝The IKA expresses its gratitude to the Olympic Council of Asia, the Bahrain Asian Youth Games Organizing Committee, the Government of Uzbekistan, and the Tajikistan Kurash Federation for their support in these processes.

❗️The IKA calls on all National Olympic Committees and National Kurash Federations in Asia to actively participate in these prestigious games in Bahrain.

🔴As registration for athletes is open as of today, we kindly ask you to register your teams as soon as possible through your respected NOC.

Кураш включён в программу III Азиатских юношеских игр

🇧🇭15 сентября 2025 года, в соответствии с решением Олимпийского совета Азии (ОСА) и Оргкомитета Азиатских юношеских игр Бахрейна (BAYGOC), Олимпийский совет Азии (ОСА) официально объявил о включении Кураш в программу III Азиатских юношеских игр.

💫Данное решение направлено на воспитание уважения к древним спортивным традициям народов Азии, популяризацию здорового образа жизни среди молодёжи и расширение программы игр.

Соревнования по Кураш пройдут в четырёх весовых категориях: юноши: -65 кг и -83 кг, девушки: -52 кг и -70 кг.

Международная Ассоциация Кураш (IKA) считает это решение ярким свидетельством растущего признания Кураш как вида спорта на международной арене.

🤝IKA выражает свою благодарность Олимпийскому совету Азии, Оргкомитету Азиатских юношеских игр Бахрейна, правительству Узбекистана и Федерации Кураш Таджикистана за поддержку в этих процессах.

Men bu yerga murabbiylar, hakamlar va federatsiyamiz kelajagi uchun o‘rganish va tajriba almashish maqsadida keldim. O‘zbekistonning hissasi o‘ziga xos bo‘lib, albatta, kurashni butun dunyoda targ‘ib qilishga katta yordam beradi. Sammit davomida Xalqaro Kurash Institutining rektori janob Habibulla Tadjievning rahbarligini ko‘rdim. Shuningdek, IKA bosh kotibi janob Rizo Nassiriy va janob Mansur Mirzayevning ham ushbu sportni rivojlantirish va targ‘ib etishga qo‘shayotgan katta hissasini alohida ta’kidlamoqchiman. Bu sammit kurashning kelajagi uchun beqiyos ahamiyatga ega. So’nggi yillar davomida guvoh bo‘ldimki, kurashimiz boshqa ko‘plab jang san’atlaridan ustun va rivojlangan bo‘lib bormoqda — buni faxr bilan ta’kidlayman.🗣️

I have been engaged in the field of Kurash for the past 25 years. Kurash is a sport of great nobility and refinement.
I was honored to participate in the Global Summit on Kurash Refereeing, Rules, and Standards. This event held particular significance for the future generations of children who will grow up practicing Kurash. My purpose in attending was to learn from the summit and to exchange experiences for the benefit of coaches, referees, and the broader development of our federation. The contribution of Uzbekistan was remarkable and will undoubtedly support the global promotion of Kurash.
During the summit, I observed the strong leadership of the Rector of the International Kurash Institute, Mr. Khabibulla Tadjiev. I also wish to acknowledge the efforts of the IKA Secretary General, Mr. Reza Nassiri, and Mr. Mansur Mirzaev, whose contributions are instrumental in advancing and promoting this sport.
This summit was of great importance for the future of Kurash. Over the years, I have witnessed the continued growth and development of Kurash, which has become even stronger and more sophisticated than many other martial arts—a fact of which I am proud.
I extend my sincere gratitude to all organizers and participants.🗣️

In May, I participated in a seminar where we studied various methods of preparation. During this seminar, referees and coaches shared their valuable knowledge with us.

Upon returning to our country, we conveyed this knowledge to our coaches and referees, and we also ensured that our students benefited from it.

On 15 September, at the Global Referees’ Summit organized by IKI and IKA, we gathered to improve our refereeing practice and clarify the rules. We share our knowledge, learn from each other, and progress together.
