Mark: What’s the matter?
Clare: I’ve got a history exam on Friday and I’m worried I’ll fail it.
Mark: Why? You’re brilliant at history.
Clare: It isn’t difficult but I have to remember a lot of information. These are my notes from today.
Mark: Can I see?
Clare: Yes.
Mark: These aren’t notes! This is a full text!
Clare: What do you mean?
Mark: You don’t have to copy everything! ‘Notes’ are just a few words. You have to write the important words. You don’t need to write the extra bits. Look. King Henry the Eighth was married six times.
Clare: That’s important information.
Mark: But you don’t need to write all of those words. You can draw little pictures too. Pictures can help you to remember things and then you don’t need to write so many words. Look.
Clare: That’s so good! The crown is for ‘King’ and the ‘H’ is for Henry. That’s cool. Then the heart is ‘love’ and a number six … well that is ehm … six.
Mark: Yes. So look at these notes. Let’s test your memory.
Clare: King Henry the Eighth was married six times.
Mark: Exactly! Write notes like this, Clare. Then you won’t have six pages of notes, you’ll only have two or three!

الفرق بين زمن الماضي البسيط past simple
وزمن المضارع التام present perfect

* في البداية يجب عليك أن تعلم بأن كلا الزمنين تستخدم للتعبير عن الماضي. لكن يوجد هناك حالات لايصح ان نستخدم معها الا زمن الماضي البسيط past simple،
وحالات أيضاً لايصح أن نستخدم معها الا زمن المضارع التام present perfect
وذلك من أجل أن ننقل ونعرف المعنى العميق لجميع الجمل أثناء التحدث او الاستماع.

فعلى سبيل المثال أنا اشتريت سيارة جديدة واردت أن اخبر صديقي بأني اشتريت سيارة جديدة منذ وقت قصير ولازالت هذه السيارة موجودة معي حالياً. هنا سوف استخدم زمن الـ present perfect للتعبير عن هذا الحدث الذي وقع في الماضي ولازالت نتيجته وآثاره موجودة الى الآن . لذلك سوف اقول :

I have bought a new car.
أنا اشتريت سيارة جديدة.

حيث أن صديقي سوف يفهم القصد والمعنى العميق من كلامي هذا، سيفهم انني اشتريت سيارة جديدة منذ وقت قصير ولازالت هذه السيارة موجودة معي الى الآن.

ولايصح أن استخدم زمن الماضي البسيط past simple للتعبير عن الحالة السابقة

I bought a new car ✖️

اذا قلت لصديقي الأجنبي :
I bought a new car
فهنا سوف يفهم بأنه سبق وان اشتريت سيارة جديدة في الماضي لكن هذه السيارة لم تعد موجودة معي حالياً ، وانما اشتريتها في الماضي وقمت ببيعها في الماضي أيضاً .

بالنسبه لزمن. الماضي البسيط past simple
نستخدمه للتعبير عن حدث وقع في الماضي وانتهى تماماً .
مثال :
I went to the cinema yesterday.
أنا ذهبت إلى السينما امس

I have gone to the cinema yesterday ✖️✖️

لاتستخدم زمن المضارع التام present perfect للتعبير عن حدث وقع في الماضي وانتهى.

ما الفرق بين :
I had dinner. أنا تناولت العشاء
I have had dinner. أنا تناولت العشاء

لاحظ بأن الترجمة تبدو واحدة، أنا تناولت العشاء ، أي كلاهما في الماضي، لكن الشيء الأهم الذي اريدكم أن تركزوا عليه هو المعنى.

اذا اخبرك شخص ما بأنه تناول العشاء بهذه الصيغة I had dinner
فتأكد بأنه تناول العشاء قبل وقت طويل ( أمس ، او قبل ساعات طويلة).

أما لو اخبرك بأنه تناول العشاء بالصيغة التالية
     I have had dinner.
فتأكد بأنه تناول العشاء منذ وقت قصير، أي قد ربما أن نكهة الفاصوليا لازالت عالقه في فمه، والعشاء حالياً بداخل معدته مستعد للهضم.

‏I lost my keys
فقدت مفاتيحي

‏I lost my weight
فقدت وزني.


‏I lost the game
خسرت اللعبة


‏I lost my head
فقدت صوابي.


‏I lost track of time
فقدت الاحساس بالوقت

زمن المضارع المستمر : Present continuous
#اقرأ المحادثة التالية بكل تركيز :

Ahmed : where are you now Sarah?
اين انتي الآن ياسارة ؟

Sarah : I am coming.   أنا قادمة

Ahmed : Ok, I am waiting for you.
حسناً، انا انتظرك .

Sarah : It's raining at the moment, and I am driving my car.
انها تمطر في هذه اللحظة، وانا اقود سيارتي.

Ahmed : It's not raining here, I am playing football now.
انها لاتمطر هنا، أنا ألعب كرة القدم الآن.

#الشرح :-
لاحظ المحادثه السابقة بين أحمد وسارة، وركز  على استخدام زمن المضارع المستمر present continuous والذي نستخدمه دائماً للتعبير عن الفعل الذي نقوم به في نفس زمن التكلم  #لاحظ في المحادثة السابقة  أحمد وهو يسأل سارة : أين انتي الآن ياسارة ؟ فأجابت :
I am coming  انا  قادمة
فرد عليها احمد قائلاً : حسناً أنا منتظر لك، او انا انتظرك، او انا بانتظارك..
Ok, I am waiting for you.
أي انه ينتظرها الآن في نفس الزمن الذي يكلمها فيه..

سارة : انها تمطر في هذه اللحظة، وانا اقود سيارتي.
It's raining at the moment, and I am driving my car.
نفهم من الجملتين أن السماء كانت تمطر في نفس الوقت الذي تتكلم فيه سارة مع أحمد، وكانت تقود سيارتها أيضاً وهي تكلم احمد..( تتكلم في الهاتف وهي تقود في نفس الوقت).

أحمد : انها لا تمطر هنا، انا العب كرة القدم الآن.
It's not raining here, I am playing football now
في الجملتين السابقة يقصد أحمد بأن السماء  لاتمطر في نفس اللحظة التي يتكلم فيها مع سارة، فهو يلعب كرة القدم..( يكلم سارة في الهاتف وهو في الملعب يلعب كرة القدم

- Big event حدث كبير
- Big failure فشل ذريع
- Big change تغيير / تحول كبير
- Big surprise مفاجأة كبيرة

👨🏻‍🦰Todd: Sometimes, they fight in Japan but the last movie, the monsters fight in America. I think they fight in San Francisco.
