معادل ‘پیاده شدن’ در زبان انگلیسی:

برای ‘پیاده شدن’ در زبان انگلیسی معادل های نسبتا زیادی وجود دارد؛ در این مطلب به دو مورد از این معادل ها می پردازیم.

معادل اول فعل ترکیبی get off می باشد؛ از این فعل ترکیبی معمولا برای پیاده شدن از وسایل نقلیه عمومی مثل اتوبوس، قطار و مترو استفاده می شود.

به دو مثال توجه کنید:

I reached my destination, then I got off the bus.

به مقصدم رسیدم و سپس از اتوبوس پیاده شدم.


Get off the subway at the next stop.

در ایستگاه بعدی از مترو پیاده شو.


اما برای ماشین های سواری (مثل ماشین شخصی و تاکسی) از get off استفاده نمی کنیم، بلکه از get out of استفاده می کنیم.
