The Danish Refugee Council, in cooperation with the Busra al-Sham local council, Daraa Governorate, southern Syria, is restoring 103 homes for displaced families returning to the city. Phase one completed 50 homes; phase two begins next week on 53 more. DRC provides shelter and infrastructure support to refugees and internally displaced persons.
For the second time in recent days, Israeli forces detained several individuals, including a child, during a dawn raid on the village of Suwaysah in Quneitra. Deir Ezzor’s Internal Security Forces arrested 120 suspects in Abu Kamal in a sweeping crackdown on organized crime and regime remnants. Col. Shamlan said the operation targeted arms, drugs smugglers and militias tied to the 47th Regiment and vowed no tolerance for armed groups.
