Air Arabia will resume flights between Sharjah and Damascus beginning July 10, restoring direct air travel on this route after a pause.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Asaad Al-Shibani received in Damascus the head of the Finnish mission Anne Meskanen, during the meeting they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and means of enhancing cooperation in areas of common interest.

US President Donald Trump signed the executive order terminating decades-long sanctions on Syria.

The White House announced that the executive order regarding Syria will take effect tomorrow, Tuesday.
