Starmer claims digital ID is not mandatory but:

- if you don't have it you may pay £85 each time you need to "prove" your ID

- you must have it to work

- company directors must verify digitally or risk strike off

- basic DBS checks now only available digitally

- one log in mandatory from 2027 for all govt online services

- corporations requesting digital ID or you risk losing services - mandatory by back door

- paper ID routes limited or made costly

- Tesco locking fridges & hinting at digital interface for customer use

- biometric data stored by supermarkets

- digital driving licence phased in

- veterans digital card offered - carrot approach by giving "offers" to sign up

It's mission creep. Textbook gradualism & non digital routes are being removed or made expensive. This makes it de facto mandatory & people need to be very aware it's happening - NOW. There is no Britcard coming to lock people in a digital cage. The cage is here, via all the above

The software is called "Facewatch" and is shared across stores. A 62 year old woman was put on the list for the crime of carrying Paracetamol.

Employees of a store you return an item to who are aggrieved can also have your face added to the list for "aggressive behaviour," which has also happened.

If we take elite theory as a given, and we understand that The Managerial Elite are insulated even from non elite wealthy people as a class.

Elite is not a merit signifier. It is not a wealth signifier. You can be a poor, stupid part of the elite class yet still have greater connections & access than a multi millionaire.

Where then do we find a way to interact with these people? Something we've dubbed The Managerial Interface.

Within "The Managerial Interface" is the only place mixing of elite & non elites happens at scale. The elite is also a social scene, and many within its lower end do not understand they are mixing almost exclusively with other minor elites.

People from middle-class technical backgrounds are commissioned into these managerial positions, but do not become elites in the class sense.

Minor elites are seconded, often begrudgingly, to be handlers to these necessary technical experts. It's a promotion for proles, but a demotion to many in the elite.

As above, so below. The Elite have their own insulated class of elites who are decisionary. The Sovereign Elite is as distant to the rest of the elite as the elites are to The Mass.

They control those who choose the people to pull the managerial levers. They gatekeep the gatekeepers of management & set the shape of The System. They decide what is "Neutral & Normal." They are the exception of the exception.

The elite, even at the very top, are a class. As such, the 80/20 rule applies as it applies to all groups & organisations. Elite overproduction makes this more like a 90/10 rule, with the vast majority of The Elite Class sitting idle or on Elite Welfare from NGOs, Civil Service, Think Tanks etc.

They are idle to a degree & in ways Victorian & medieval elites were not.

Minor elites have no access directly the sovereign elites. Elite loyalist placed in positions of mid level responsibility strive to reach the rarefied air of The Sovereign Elie and act as a ruthless filter. Michael Gove is, in my mind, thr ultimate archetype of The Striving Elite. They alone make entryism laughable, but there are dozens more filters that make that a pipe dream.

The Sovereign elite choose those who choose those who choose managerial workers.
