I have not researched this at all, but i'm going to make the bold statement that bees practice self care. Bees are busy and part of a hivemind, but in a balanced, healthy way.
My evidence is thus:
•They sleep in flowers overnight. So they do stop to rest.
•They would like to be brushed because they're known to groom their fluff, and groom each other. So they bathe and socialise.
•Due to that one experiement, we know that bees play, and so do engage in silliness and merriment, and have no qualms with stopping to play in the midst of work.
•they're eating nectar, and gathering pollen. Their whole job ensures they get a tasty snack/hydration along the way. (That said, shallow dishes of water and marbles or pebbles is really helpful for all buggys during hot months!)

I think this is important to think about.
Maybe at some point I'll put hyperlinks in there to refer back to where i got these small bits of information.

Anyway, i like bees and i wish i were one.
Also, it would stand to reason that someone has already studied this....
I bet its already known that bees practice self-care despite being precieved by humans (generally) as busy worker drones endlessly doing their job and nothing else.
Eh I'll go look it up
