We sincerely apologize for the recent incident in which the X account of MEXC CSO Cecilia was compromised and used to share misleading and fraudulent information.

Our team confirmed the account breach at 11:35 PM (UTC+8) and immediately (around 11:40 PM) issued an official statement to warn users not to trust any messages or posts from the account. At 11:55 PM, the compromised account began posting scam-related content. We promptly contacted X’s security team, and by 12:38 AM, all misleading posts had been removed and the account access disabled to prevent further harm.

Cecilia also expresses her sincere apologies for the confusion and losses caused by her compromised account. She will personally provide financial support to affected users and reward anyone who helps track the scammers and assist the victims.

We deeply regret any losses users may have suffered due to this incident. We are also implementing enhanced security measures for all management-level accounts to prevent similar incidents in the future.
