So, help him to plan his studies by ensuring that he studies for a maximum period of 50 minutes in one sitting and then gift him a 10-minute distraction. Please ensure it is not the other way.*_
_*There has to be a dedicated space for studies. Let it just be a corner in the house, maybe the balcony, could be the terrace - but there has to be a dedicated space for studies. Practicing a ritual before beginning to study goes a long way. This ritual will send a message to his intelligence that, he is going to start studying and it must be prepared to concentrate!!!*_

At the same time, if shortfalls, inadequacies, compromises and mistakes are not reflected back to him, he will remain mediocre, assuming his standards are good enough.*_
_*Below par performances need feedbacks. Without constructive criticism, the bar of performance will never be raised. So, discuss the wrong but don't make the person feel, as if he is a wrong person. Help him understand that failure is an event and it is not a person. Teach him to deal with the failure but don't make him feel like a failure!!!*_
