Nerve synapse animation

1) Ca²+ --> Synaptic knob.
• Ca²+ ion influx into the synaptic knob.

2) synaptic vesicles -> ruptures
• The influx of Ca²+ ion causes the synaptic vesicles to fuse with the presynaptic membrane & rupture.

3) neurotransmitter -> synaptic cleft
• Raptured synaptic vesicles releasing neurotransmitters into the synaptic cleft by exocytosis.

4) neurotransmitter -> receptor site
• The neurotransmitter substance diffuses across the synaptic cleft and is attached to a specific receptor site on the postsynaptic membrane.

5) ligand-gated ion channel opened
• Causing the opening of the ligand-gated ion channel at the postsynaptic membrane.

6) Na+ --> postsynaptic knob
• Na+ ions influx the postsynaptic knob down their respective concentration gradient.

Guys just wanna inform you that all of the notes and questions that I have shared currently are not 100% following the latest SDS syllabus 2022 ya.

All of the notes and questions I had shared are following the previous batch syllabus

And I don't know the latest syllabus since we don't start the semester yet.

I have asked my friend alumni of matrix kmk, and he said that the next batch syllabus will change a little bit, around 75% is the same as the prev batch, and maybe 25% will change.

So, what I share right now, if it including in the latest syllabus scope, then Alhamdulillah will be a bonus for us because we had studied earlier than the others.
