Dear MedSIN-OMA family,

We have the honor to present to you the MedSIN-OMA delegation to the MedSIN-Sudan 32nd General Assembly - Online September Meeting 2023! this general assembly was a crucial event for our organization. MedSIN-Sudan general assemblies are the highest authority of the organization, where medical student all over Sudan comes twice a year; in April and September, to discuss major health topics that run in the country at the time, and to capacitate themselves in the essential life and medical skills needed to excel as future doctors, and human beings at the first place.

This year, the September Meeting 2023 took place in a fully online modality from the 30th of September till the 6th of October 2023. Having more than 20 delegates to represent our faculty in such extraordinary circumstances. What kept us going is the hope that all that we gain now shall be, one day in service of building a better future for Sudan and we would like to thank them for joining us at the OSNGA 32, take presence was invaluable and added warmth and happiness and also making it a memorable experience for all of us.!

Dear MedSIN-OMA family,

I hope that my message finds you well and happy as I am.
We pray to Allah for the safety and well-being of our people during this time of conflict and war. May we find strength, protection, peace amidst the turmoil. May we find refuge from harm, and may peace be restored to our glorious nation soon.

In the past few months ,MedSIM-OMA led to suspension of its activities due to ongoing conflict, However after MedSIN-Sudan September Online General Assembly, MedSIN-OMA sent and had more than 20 delegates to represent our faculty in such extraordinary circumstances. And we discussed to start working again as what kept us going is the hope that all that we gain now shall be, one day in service of building a better future for Sudan. As our main aim is to discuss major health topics that run in the country at the time, and to capacitate ourselves in the essential life and medical skills needed to excel as future doctors, and human beings in the first place.
Hence we are glad to announce that our boat is back in business and we are more than eager to have you with us! The new team of officials would like to throw the ball to the enthusiastic OMA members to take their position at the helm of leadership to return the association to its golden era to carry out its tasks stipulated in the bylaw to achieve the greatest benefit for the students of the college and the local community.

Now after this transitional stage it's time to pass the torch to the new generation.
We are looking for active people, not passive, who are fired up and ready to go, simply people who want to be the change.

Being a part of MedSIN-OMA is a truly life-changing experience, you will get the chance to expand your knowledge about global health issues, strengthen your skills, travel, exchange ideas, meet new people and have fun.

Today marks the last day of the current term 2022/23, as much as any other Official. Many tears were shed, much tea was spilled, yet as many of you know me closely, instead of pouring liquid out of my lacrymal glands, I prefer to pour words out of my heart for you.


It's hard to believe that our time together has come to an end. This journey has been filled with ups and downs, but I wouldn't have wanted to experience it with any other. I want to express my deepest gratitude for your commitment and support. We have worked through so much together, including a war, and I am so proud of how we persevered.

The 3rd call for MedSIN-Sudan NTs/PCs/PPRC for the term 23/24 is open now! An important criteria to apply in this call is to have a correctly filled out, signed, and stamped Candidature Form by the LMO President.

• What’s a Candidature Form [CF]?
It’s a document containing the name of the candidate, the LMO of the applicant, and the position which the applicant is applying for. It serves as a contract between the applicant, the LMO, and MedSIN-Sudan.
Below are more details regarding the CF, and the consequences.

• By signing the candidature form, the candidate fully accepts to abide by the MedSIN-Sudan Constitution and Bylaws.
• By signing the candidature form, the candidate’s Local Member Organization enters into a liability for any damages caused by the candidate, and shall indemnify and hold harmless MedSIN-Sudan for all losses, costs, charges, expenses, damage, liabilities, claims, demands, actions and legal proceedings (including reasonable attorney and expert fees and expenses) resulting directly or indirectly from or relating to any damages caused by the local member organization's candidate from the moment of their appointment until they complete their duties or are otherwise removed from the position.Candidature support cannot be withdrawn after the appointment.


Application process:
I urge you to go through the call once, twice, thrice and even ten times before applying, as there are so many details that you could be missing on, as a simple misnamed document will invalidate your application. It’s also mandatory to go through the booklet (Here), to have more information on the position you’re applying for.
Applications must be submitted through this (form), no later than no later than Sunday, 26th of November 2023 at 23:59 GMT+2. Late applications will not be considered!!
Candidates interested in applying must submit the following documents:
a. Candidature Form: correctly filled out, and signed by the applicant The only template for the SL that will be considered can be found (Here). Please make sure to fill your CF appropriately (Signature and Date) in WORD format.
b. Curriculum Vitae and Motivation Letter: applicants must submit a recent CV and ML (as one combined document) Google document that is accessible to everyone with commenting rights using only the template provided (Here).
The ML should be written using Arial Font size 12 and must not exceed one page.
c. Plan of Action: applicants must submit a detailed Plan of Action for the positions they're applying to in a Google document that is accessible to everyone with commenting rights
The Plan of Action must NOT exceed 3 pages. If you exceed the page limit, your application will be considered invalid.

Naming of Submitted Documents:
Applicants must rename the required documents prior to uploading them as follows:
[GS][CAND NT/PC/PPRC 2023/24 - "Quaternary Name"][Position full name][CV+ML OR CF OR PoA].
Validity criteria:
• Any application received after the deadline will be considered INVALID and there will be no deadline extension.

Important Notes:
a. Applicants must download the given templates first, fill them out completely and correctly, and submit them in the application form within the given deadline.
b. The position's name on the CF must be exactly as written in the NTs/PCs/PPRC booklet.
c. Each applicant may only apply for ONE position.

Applicants applying for two or more positions will be disqualified.
d. If there are any inputs from the Executive Board, It’s recommended that applicants adopt the inputs.
e. The job description for the position you're applying to is crucial and must be clearly tackled in the goals and action points written within your plan of action. Applicants may add additional ideas if they want but only after fulfilling their job description completely.
f. The PoA must be relevant to the National Officers/Support Division Director's/ Executive board’s specified job description and contributing to achieve it.
