Camera traps are cameras equipped of motion sensors (infrared) that are automatically triggered by nearby motion.
They're often used by biologists and other researchers to observe wildlife and natural environments without the biases of direct human interactions.

Here, a camera trap captured a wildboar happily wallowing in mud.
Sus species (pigs) need regular mud wallowing to regulate their body temperature and avoid hyperthermia, but also protect themselves from UV rays. It can occasionally be a scent-marking or sexual behavior as well.
