Architectural studio and the architect being questioned on 'mistakes' that causes fatality
The Grenfell Inquiry report on the causes of the fire at the 24-storey tower, which led to the deaths of 72 people on 14 June 2017, was published today. It revealed that Studio E, the architect commissioned to refurbish the tower, was to blame for βsignificantβ failings on the project.

On the streets of 'Addis Ababa' (locations unconfirmed), that vision is being realised. Dressed in a Spider-Man costume, a man β as yet unnamed β engages in small acts of kindness to the people around him: mending old clothes, dusting the shoes of passers-by, and serenading onlookers. He has become an internet sensation and is inspiring other residents of 'Ethiopiaβs capital' to engage in community service. The Ethiopian Electric Utility has announced a rolling increase in power tariffs over the next four years as part of a comprehensive power sector reform.
Quarterly increments averaging 10% will be progressively applied, with the first round slated for next month. This will result in EEU customers facing an average power utility cost increase of 400% by 2028.
