The Scandinavian people have learned to adapt and live in harmony in all our four seasons of the year due to ancient -and current traditions like rituals, blót, celebrations and music.

↟ Happy Constitution Day, Denmark! 🇩🇰 Since the 5th of June 1849, Denmark became a constitutional monarchy and received its first democratic constitution. Today, Danes celebrate constitutional celebrations in Denmark and raise the Dannebrog.

Dannebrog is the name of the Danish flag, and the legend says that it fell from the sky to Valdemar Sejr's troops during the battle of Lindanäs in Estonia year 1219, 15th of June. It is the oldest national flag in the world, still in use today. Dannebrogen means "Danish clothes" or "well processed fabric." The cross design was first used on the Danish flag, which was then also taken over by the other Nordic countries.

Her work is remarkable, and reflects how Sweden looked like back in the days.
