Föll tappert i främsta linjen, för folk och fädernäsland av en kula i tinningen vid belägringen av Fredrikshald i Norge 30 november år 1718. Karl XII är uppmärksammad som Sveriges krigarkonung och huvuddelen av sin tid som regerande konung i Sverige (1697 - 1718) tillbringade han ute i fält under det stora Nordiska kriget. Med sitt ledarskap och sina strategiska skickligheter bidrog han inledningsvis till stora framgångar för Sverige med sin Karolinska armé, som då attackerades på tre fronter bara tre år efter sin kröning, då var han endast 18 år gammal. Ett av dem kändaste slagen är segern vid Narva i Ryssland år 1700, med sin armé av 5 000 Karoliner som vann mot 25 000 - 30 000 ryska soldater.

🇸🇪 SWEDISH NATIONALISTS HONORED CHARLES XII ⚔
November 30th is one of Swedish nationalism's greatest traditions. In 2024 all parts of the national movement paid tribute to the warrior king Charles XII on the anniversary of his death.
🟠 DFS organized a ceremony at Fredriksten's fortress where the king fell in combat.
🔵 AFS held its traditional torchlight procession in Stockholm and speeches were given at the statue in Kungsträdgården.
🟢 NMR marched through Stockholm with drums, passing the riksdag where they called out the traitorous rulers, and also gave a speech at the statue.
⚫ AKS started the day with a bannerdrop and later marched through the capital with pyrotechnics, torches and chanting "Sweden for the Swedes".
🔴 Independent smaller groups like "Stockholm Skinheads" were also present at the Karl XII statue.
🟡 Even SD paid tribute to Karl XII at its municipal and regional conference in Norrköping.

Vintersolståndet inträffar lördag den 21 december i Skandinavien detta år och markerar den kortaste och mörkaste dagen på året då solen har som lägst middagshöjd och jordens rotationsaxel lutar längst bort från solen. Just nu går solen ned 14:52 i mellersta Sverige, Svealand.
Vi är ett folk av solen - Sunna. Vi har uråldriga traditioner som grundar sig i våra olika årstider, solen och månens position likt Sommarsolståndet (Midsommar) och den första fullmånen efter Vintersolståndet (Jul) som etablerades långt före kristnandet av Skandinavien. Mycket ursprung av de fornnordiska rötterna finns än idag kvar i våra nuvarande traditioner, så som våra hedniska förfäder en gång i tiden firade dem.

↟ Glaðr Ljóssi - Glad Lucia ↟
❄️ Today on December 13th we celebrate a very old tradition here in Scandinavia originally called Ljóssi or "Lucia/Lussi" as many call it today. At the darkest time of the year here in our pre-Christian North (The Winter Solstice) we had a tradition that was linked to light, darkness and the course of the year. 'Ljóssi' means 'the light' and symbolize the bringer of light in the dark. The tradition was also often called "Mother Night", and is today celebrated just a few days before the wheel is turning - The Winter Solstice.
❄️ Lucia is a tradition held to welcome the return of the light, and is a symbol of a light-bringing female. Earlier back in the days, women of each tribe climbed the highest hill or mountain in the area dressed in white and light to watch the horizon for a sign of the light returning.
