Bro this girl never fails to amaze me 🔥 She just got selected as a candidate to be the first Ethiopian astronaut — that’s WILD. I swear to God, I’m so proud of her 🙌🏾. If you were in that meeting, you’d feel her passion through the roof.

Now she’s officially a candidate astronaut for Titan Space Industries Inc. She’ll be part of the Titans Genesis Spaceplane mission in 2029 (and possibly more missions after that)

The inaugural mission will be a 5 hour orbital flight reaching 300 km above Earth, nearly a quarter of the distance to the ISS. It will include 3 hours of sustained zero gravity, creating a unique environment for scientific research and human exploration. This mission will be led by NASA veteran astronaut and retired US Army Colonel William McArthur Jr., a space veteran with three Space Shuttle missions. He also served as Commander of the International Space Station Mission 12 for 6 months. The transport was on board of a Soyuz spacecraft.
