If you’re into space movies and haven’t seen this one yet, you’re missing out. Hidden Figures is such a good movie, it’s about the real-life story of Katherine Johnson, a brilliant mathematician who worked at NASA on the John Glenn and Apollo missions. I watched the trailer so many times before, but I finally saw the full movie yesterday and it was honestly amazing.

Project Hail Mary is coming, and space twitter’s already saying it might finally knock Interstellar off the top spot 😭. It’s directed by Phil Lord & Chris Miller, starring Ryan Gosling, and based on Andy Weir’s book (yep, the guy who wrote The Martian). The story follows a school teacher who wakes up 12 light years away from Earth, on a solo mission to save humanity after the Sun starts dying. It’s giving The Martian brains, Interstellar scale, and that Lord & Miller charm. I’m so hyped for this one.

May Recap & June Plans May is all about design, man. This month I didn’t even think about other things—I can say that with confidence. At least till this week’s Starship flight. And June is gonna be a lot of work. Plus, I’ve got plans to try some new stuff…
June Recap & July Plans
June started off a bit slow but got way better as it went on. Picked up learning stuff I had paused for a while, and even dropped the first chapter of an eBook (finally). Watched a bunch of rocket stuff too. Didn’t post much design-wise, mostly ‘cause of client work, but still a solid month overall.
July’s gonna be more about learning, experimenting, and trying to build some habits (might update here, might not). Planning to post more design content, write more chapters, and stay extra active on X. Also thinking of doing mini projects to push forward the big one I have in mind.
