Honestly, I think emotions and feelings are overrated these days. People can get deceived so easily, especially in the social media era. Someone drops a new ideology, and suddenly it spreads like the flu ... everyone jumps on it without really thinking. It’s not just abroad either, I’ve noticed similar movements popping up here in Ethiopia.
The thing is, we shouldn’t just follow emotions blindly. We need to be reasonable and logical when choosing to support or stand against something. In a society like ours, where logic and reasoning often get pushed aside, it’s way too easy to capture people’s attention with just emotional stories.
I’m not saying “don’t join movements” or “don’t support ideas” but at least know what you’re getting into. Ask yourself: does this really help us? I’ve seen very smart, reasonable people compromise themselves and fall just because of emotions.
At the end of the day, we need balance. Don’t devalue emotions, but don’t ignore logic either. Because sometimes, what looks logically right might be morally flawed, and that’s why we need both side by side.

July Recap & August Plans July was a bit quiet, I barely posted and wasn’t that active here on my channel. One of my plans was to stay active on X, and that actually paid off ... it was my best traction month so far since I started posting there. I also…
August Recap & September Plan
August was actually pretty solid, most of my time went into client projects and I’ve been working more, which is great. Picked up some good lessons along the way too. Overall, I’d give the month an 8.5/10.
September plan:
- Keep doing what I’m doing
- Touch grass a bit more 🌱
