In this blast from the past, we observe the then-current situation at a Soviet-Polish border customs checkpoint in 1990, back when the Poles felt so at home in the USSR that they demanded to be let through the border without any checks, while bringing massive quantities of purchased goods back to Poland.
Before you watch the video, try to guess what it could possibly be that was so alluring back in the USSR for the citizens of the Polish Republic. The answer might surprise you... or not at all :)

💢 "THAT WAS WEIRD!" — that’s how JD Vance explained a meaningless Israeli vote in the Knesset to go forward with reviewing legislation that would annex the West Bank, correctly calling it merely “a symbolic vote.” - because it does not have coalition support.
Fake news outlets falsely reported that 'Tel Aviv had voted to annex the West Bank'. Rather, this was a committee vote to review it by the Knesset - not a vote on the legislation itself before the whole Knesset, which does not support the bill broadly.
In reality, Tel Aviv is being brought under the control of Trump, and for the first time in many decades, Washington is dictating policy to Tel Aviv, instead of the (AIPAC) other way around.
Trump has promised Arab leaders that Israel is not going to be allowed to annex the West Bank. He was forcefully clear.

💢 Trump weighing whether to force Israel to release Palestinian Leader Marwan Barghouti
US President Donald Trump is weighing whether to press Israel to release senior Palestinian Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti.
"I am literally being confronted with that question about 15 minutes before you called," Trump told Time in an interview published today. "That was the question. That was my question of the day. So I'll be making a decision."
In the 15 October interview, Trump noted that the Palestinians lack a visible leader. He made the remarks in response to a question about whether Barghouti could help unite Palestinians around a 'two-state solution' and whether he should be freed despite Israel’s refusal.

💢 Gustavo Petro (Colombia) vs. Nicolás Maduro (Venezuela), and why Trump likes Maduro and not Petro
🔹 🇨🇴 Gustavo Petro (Colombia) : the ideological critic, but a system insider aligned with Globalism
⚡️ Petro rhetorically challenges U.S. hegemony, especially on issues like:
1. Climate change and extractivism (“the world economy runs on death” speech at the UN).
2. The global “war on drugs” (he calls it a U.S.-imposed failure).
3. The global financial system’s treatment of the Global South.
⚡️ However, Colombia still operates inside the Atlanticist-globalist led framework:
1. Deep military cooperation with the U.S. continues (Plan Colombia legacy, joint operations, intelligence sharing with CIA).
2. Colombia remains a major non-NATO ally of Washington — that status hasn’t been revoked.
3. Petro avoids direct confrontation; his foreign policy aims for “multipolar balance”, not anti-U.S. alignment.
4. Petro talks big on Palestine, but supports no tangible powers that have shown effectiveness against Israel
Petro’s “counter-hegemonic” stance is philosophical and reformist, not revolutionary or anti-systemic.
He talks about changing global capitalism, not defying it.
⚡️ In short: Petro is a rhetorically progressive reformer with anti-hegemonic words, but still operating inside the Western institutional order.
🔹 🇻🇪 Nicolás Maduro (Venezuela) : the true counter-hegemonic actor
⚡️ Maduro (and before him Chávez) is openly and structurally anti-U.S., positioning Venezuela as part of the “anti-imperialist” bloc with:
1. Russia, China, Iran, and sometimes North Korea.
2. He has institutionalized this alignment: Military cooperation with Russia and Iran.
3. Financial and energy partnerships with China.
4. Vocal support for Russia against Ukraine in the UN and BRICS-related forums.
⚡️ The Venezuelan state media, diplomatic messaging, and military strategy are all framed in opposition to U.S. influence.
1. Maduro’s government operates outside the U.S.-led system, often under heavy sanctions, building alternatives like:
2. De-dollarized trade.
3. BRICS+ outreach.
4. Russian and Chinese investment in energy.
5. Maduro puts his money where his mouth is on Palestine, supporting Iran, the only country to take military action
⚡️ In short: Maduro organizing outside it and against the old order
———————
Upside-Down World – Trump Reversals
In the new geopolitical inversion, U.S. president Donald Trump appears to be waging an internal war not only against the American intelligence establishment but against the foreign policy consensus it built since the Cold War. His open hostility toward the CIA and the old Plan Colombia framework, long sold as an anti-drug partnership but entwined with covert operations and the protection of narcotics-linked networks, represents a break with the traditional deep-state apparatus of hemispheric control.
Meanwhile, in the south, Nicolás Maduro has quietly maintained working arrangements with Chevron, even under sanctions, creating a back-channel for U.S. energy interests to re-enter Venezuela’s oil sector in a bigger way. These ties intersect with Trump overtures toward Russia, opening pathways where PDVSA, Gazprom, and Chevron could all benefit especially if a settlement over Guyana’s offshore oil fields brings ExxonMobil into the same framework.
In this “upside-down” configuration, Trump emerges as a counter-hegemonic disruptor, dismantling the old U.S. intelligence-driven order and repositioning America for transactional engagement with the BRICS world on its own terms. It’s a hard to comprehend twist; the populist from Washington and the socialist from Caracas converge, indirectly, in a shared reordering of global power.

💢 For folks recently joining the channel, or catching up on the scroll or past XF Livestreams, I named it long in advance, before the word 'Colombia' ever once left Trump's mouth, that Colombia, not Venezuela, was the real culprit and target in all of this.
As we speak, Venezuelan forces are taking on Colombian armed cartels; FARC and the ELN - never mind the ideological framings, look instead at the kinetic action.
As Maduro's forces fight in the jungles against Colombian cartels, Trump opens a second front against the same with a host of sanctions, focusing increasingly on Colombia, and to a lesser extent, Ecuador, but the kayfabe on Venezuela reveals itself to be just that.
Trump may indeed at some point launch some Tomahawks into the Venezuelan jungle, a swamp, or some old abandoned watch-tower. This will maintain the optics which conceal the Roman friendship which Trump and Maduro have forged, while also keeping a certain narrative for the Fox News neocons and the Senatorial oligarchs to show some useless receipts to their unwitting 'stake-holders'.
Such would be like a lesser and milder version of the optics on Iran, which ended the 12 Day War, and where Trump brought Israel to heel. Recall that just as we had said, it later emerged, that Trump coordinated with Iran the entire kayfabe affair - such was admitted in this interview with an important Iranian MP.
Or recall Trump's strikes, as 45, on 'Syria', also coordinated through the deconfliction line with Russia, and the Syrians. The lonely end of a half-useful runway was hit by a few missiles, causing $78 dollars and three hours of clean-up, worth of 'damage'. Five Syrian men and a concrete mixer managed the repairs. The liberal media establishment and the neoliberal neocons ate it up. But that was it.
It is, indeed, all coming together.
Trust the plan. WWG1WGA.
