💢 How did Portlandians devolve into this weird mass of degraded humanity such that you kind of feel like what we are seeing needs to happen?
Where, why, how, did it happen in the US that Democrat type protesters wear ridiculous costumes that kind of make you 100 times less sympathetic to them?
This may sound horrible, but it's like their ringleaders have set them up for failure and abuse, because it's funny as hell to watch them getting gassed and smacked with batons.
I don't think this is an accident, and my reactions are probably as standard as they are predictable, so much so that, yes, their DNC ringleaders are encouraging this carnival like atmosphere where onlookers actually sympathize with the police for the first time ever.
Finally, why is everyone so fat and deformed looking? That alone is pretty dystopic, even before the fat police come storming in.

It seems most likely to be designed to mess up expectations. How? What Russia would offer now is much 'worse' than this for Zelensky and the Kiev mafia. But WaPo takes this relatively generous offer (the time for this has long since passed) and trashes it. So what are they doing? - XF ]
