Saint David of Gareji was one of the thirteen Syrian fathers who came to Georgia in the 6th century to preach Christianity. When false accusers claimed that a woman was pregnant by him, David prayed — and she miraculously gave birth to a stone, proving his innocence. He is also honored as one of the protectors of pregnant women. ➕
