Progress today.... the guy down the street decided to move his shipping containers and thus his power meter location. He got his power shut off today (no big deal) and we disassembled his meter base and used my backhoe to dig up the underground lines. I didn't even nick a line with the bucket!

The real "rare earth minerals" :
This is a map of loess soil deposits around the world, and the varying depths of those deposits.
Loess is a mineral rich silt requiring very little (if any) fertilizer to produce high yield crops.
As the world deglobalizes and supply chains risk breaking down, you must have access to the products of these lands.
The American Heartland, Ukraine, and China's Yellow River basin, all have what is in effect inexhaustible agricultural lands.
Alaska, Central Asia, and Siberian loess soils are too dry and/or too cold to utilize... leaving Western/Central Europe, New Zealand, and Argentina with the only other meaningful loess deposits on earth.
This is just something to keep in mind over the next several years as Silver continues on it's bull run, and Stackers begin looking to better manage their new-found generational wealth in a way that can better serve their family and their race.
Even if you don't live directly on top of a loess deposit, it would be wise to have access upstream/downstream, or near a major highway or rail line connecting you to one of these life-giving regions... or to have a summer cottage that can be used during a starvation-type event.
