Connecting Medium Enterprises to the Digital Future and Creating Jobs Along the Way

Through the Digital Market Linkage Lab (DMLL), we're empowering 19 medium enterprises in Hawassa from agro-processing to services to grow digitally, expand market reach, and create jobs. Each enterprise receives tailored digital support from experts and trained youth, focusing on content, platforms, customer engagement, and digital lending awareness.

This initiative is led by Orbit Innovation Hub through the SEED Program, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation and a consortium led by the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), Ethiopian Aviation University (EAU), Hope Enterprises, and American college of Technology (ACT).

We’re building a more connected and resilient business ecosystem

Stay tuned as we continue to share stories and insights from our Hawassa pilot.

We are excited to announce that we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Labor and Skill- FDRE (MoLS) to collaborate on job creation through digital market linkage, with a focus on equipping MSMEs across Ethiopia with the tools and platforms they need to thrive in today’s digital economy!!!

As part of this partnership, we kicked off our first joint capacity-building session in Sheger City, hosted at Burayu Polytechnic College.
