AI generated "proof" in the future like images and even videos and audio would make a huge controversy and chaotic situation where nothing can be trusted anymore. Mainstream news are lies anyway but then even legal documents, juristic court cases and perhaps scientific studies can be faked and thus everyone would be suspicous of everything. This can be considered a huge part of the AI singularity and is perhaps as important as the fact AI will take away peoples jobs and labor and replace it.

The huge +Positive+ in this is that this phenomena would force us to trust our gut feeling and have tendancy towards an oral culture. The high tech society might destroy itself and give rise to the low tech and high trust society.
