I’ve actually been easy on the boomers. What they’ve done is so horrifyingly selfish, that so far this week should be called “mercy week.”

Good to see a boomer acknowledge the problem but his solutions of raising minimum wage and getting more kids into college are late stage boomer brain.

Benny passed last night in his sleep. He’s been a blessing for me since the day I got him. Onward Ben! You will be missed but it was your time and you left in peace and loved.

I met my now wife walking Benny back in LA. He was my one tether to reality in that crazy world. No matter what Babylon offered I still had to walk him, feed him and he loved me. Benny ran up to Amy’s dog honey without hesitation to say high. Tail wagging. So Amy and I struck up a conversation.
And now as he’s laid to rest, four of my sons that came from that meeting lay flowers on him and tell him he’s free from his old body now and that they will miss him.
It’s beautiful seeing farm kids with faith deal with death. It’s just another stage of life for them and they know his spirit is free and will go on.
Benny was a blessing from God and now he’s back. Onward old friend. He was between 21 and 23 years old and died in his sleep. He ate food right up until he died. May we all have the same transition.

Despite my dog Bennys passing boomer week continues this evening at 4 pm pst with the great Vox day.
I may be a little weapy but I can always pay the gay away to myself.
Yesterday was the first day Benny seemed agitated and not as into food. I had a long talk with Amy about what the moral thing to do w Ben was and I was going to monitor him and if he was in pain the right thing would be to help him go. I gave him a long hug last night and told him he can leave and I loved him and then said a prayer thanking God for him and to give him peace and the next morning I found he passed in his sleep. Im sad he’s gone, I’ve had him since 2005, but it seemed so merciful and spiritual the way he passed that despite some tears I am happy for him.
So, boomer week continues. And next week I will honor old Ben. He literally had a movie career. Benny was in the movie “alls faire in love” and got paid. It’s hilarious.

Bennys final resting place is under a beautiful honey crisp apple tree. He loved apples. May Benny tree grow big and strong and give my family apples for decades to come.
