Leafleting Migrant Hotel in Wakefield
The Cedar CourtWakefield has become one of the newest 4 star hotels to be acquired by the Home Office on a long-term contract.
Activists distributed over 1000 leaflets in the surrounding area, met with a lot of positive responses from residents who're flabbergasted that the hotel is being occupied while British men and women remain on our streets.
Bizarrely the attached gym and spa has remained open to regular members, perhaps they're joined by the Albanians poolside?

Activists and their families enjoyed a brisk walk and day out in Haworth on Saturday. We finished up in a lovely 1940's themed tea room.
On our travels between shops our photographer struck up conversation with a shop owner, leading in with "Do you ever feel like we're being replaced" and the lady almost jumped out of her seat, eyes lit up and she told us how everyone who works there knows what's going on, her daughter's been an activist in the past etc. etc.
Suffice to say we've made a connection and she even pointed out other businesses that would be receptive to our message! π
Our 3rd annual Easter Family Fun Day is coming up on April 8th, we'd love to see you there!

Last Wednesday activists were out in Brough, East Yorkshire delivering just over 200 leaflets between them.
Activism doesn't have to be an entire day, a long drive away or require a large team. You can be the difference!

PA Yorkshire 3rd Annual Easter Family Day
Activists and families came together on Saturday to enjoy food, games and frivolity on a beautiful April day. The sun shone across the beautiful nature reserve as activists caught up with each other and the children played.
The original opencast coalmine that created the reserve was flooded in 1988 as a river broke its bank, the mine was drained at the cost of Β£20 million, mining was completed and the site was re-flooded and turned into a wetland reserve in 2013.
It also boasts Western Europe's largest preserved dragline excavator, dubbed 'Oddball' due to it having been built in the US to run on a 60 Hz electrical supply rather than the UK standard 50 Hz. Woah, crazy! π€ͺ
