A response to Martijn's blog
We rarely, if ever, make responses to blog posts or articles. In fact, there is only one instance that I can think of when we did so. So then, somewhat uncharacteristically, this is a response post to Martijn Braam’s blog in which he explains why he left…
Hello everyone, this month we’re taking a look at the Star64 prototype, check out PinePhone Pro nano SIM redesign, talk about PinePhonePro sound improvements, look at the first moulded PineBuds prototype and the new PineTime Watchmate companion app.
We’ll also be attending KDE’s Akademy this year (which we’re sponsoring) - looking forward to seeing you there!

August update: RISC and reward
This month we take a close look at the Star64, check out PineBuds (Pro) progress and discuss the Pinecil V2. I also come bearing good news concerning the PinePhone Pro, which has seen a small but significant hardware redesign and some important software updates.
Due to unexpected events, we need to move the release of the community update to next week. Thanks for understanding.
We are sorry, but we couldn't finish the update this week. So we decided to merge September update with October update, and also we are changing the schedule of the community updates to every 15th day of the month (as before).
Hello everyone, apologies for missing the September update - I hope that the good news we bring this month makes up for it. We’ve attended KDE Akademy and applied for a FOSDEM stall - hope to see you all there. This month we’re announcing the Ox64 RISC-V single board computer in two configurations: $6 and $8, available in November. Star64 now runs Linux and runs it well; the powerful RISC-V board will be available next month. PinePhone Pro receives early camera and power management support, and the keyboard drivers will be supported in kernel 6.1. QuartzPro64 now boots into both BSP and mainline Linux - and runs well I’m told. Enjoy!

I hope that the good news and all the announcements of this month will make up for the much delayed publication date - which is something I sincerely apologize for.

InfiniTime 1.11
We released InfiniTime 1.11 a few days ago. The timing of the release did not align with the monthly community update, so we decided to write a small blog post to highlight a few new features and provide new about the PineTime community!
Big news this weekend. Star64 works with an external GPU thanks to work by Icenowy https://twitter.com/thepine64/status/1583838805433294849

This month we’re introducing the PineTab2 which will be available in two different hardware configurations ( 4GB RAM /64GB & 8GB RAM/128GB flash) at some point after CNY. We discuss recent PinePhone (Pro) software progress and better support for the keyboard case as well as the recent Kali Nethunter Pro launch. Hello everyone, this month's update has been delayed and may potentially first be published on Thursday Feb 2nd. The delay has to do with preparations for FOSDEM and some of the things we're planning to showcase in February. Speaking of FOSDEM, we'll do a live stream from the stall on Saturday (Feb 4th) so that those who won't be in attendance can get a gist of the conference. The stream will be live on the PINE64 Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@PINE64inc) -- there will be an announcement when the stream starts.
The FOSDEM 2023 PineTab2 demo is nearly complete. Now with 5GHz WiFi (BES2600) working on mainline #Linux :)
