Username Availability Reservation

- When an occupied username is removed, it's reserved on server side for some minutes
- When a person removes the username (Their account's or group's or channel's) it stays in the reservation pool and they can set it back without any time limit.
- Everyone else tries to set the username will get a FLOOD_WAIT from server for some minutes
- After reservation time is over, the username becomes completely free and anyone will be able to use it

Telegram revokes inactive names

In the last couple of days, Telegram has revoked the public addresses of hundreds of public chats without warning their owners.

In the most of the cases, the affected chats where those which had no content, or no content for over a year.

A close source to Telegram reported that this is a common practice, and that it won't be possible to reoccupy the revoked addresses for a while.

Furthermore, according to the same source, there are plans to reform the public usernames system.

And Telegram revoked usernames of channels/groups with no posts in more than 1 year.
PPNUT itself lost a few (very few) of them.

If Telegram really just release the revoked usernames after some time, it will be excelent for automated scripts like PPNUT, that will instantly get all the lost usernames back (and a lot more 🙂).
But will be terrible for the plain users (like 99.999% of Telegram users ☹️).

Let's see what Telegram will do, but I don't think great stuff will come from a major change without a previous warning.
