1 John 3:4: "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

Which law is being referred to here? There are several laws in the Bible such the law of liberty, the law of Moses, the law of sin and so on.

To think 1 John 3:4 refers specifically and only to the Mosaic Law shows profound ignorance.

The โ€œlawโ€ mentioned here refers to all of Godโ€™s instructions.

Adam & Eve were under the law of God which had one rule at the time, do not eat the fruit. When they disobeyed, that was sin. The tree of life is no longer available so that law doesnโ€™t apply to us today.

The Old Testament Israelites were given the Mosaic Law. Disobedience to that was sin for them. Jesus fulfilled that Law which was given to point to Him, the Levitical system was abolished, and believers today arenโ€™t under that law. You donโ€™t need to wear blue fringes (Num. 15:38) on your clothing and you donโ€™t need to worry about what material your clothes are made from, and so forth. Youโ€™ll notice that frauds who pretend to follow the Mosaic Law prove their hypocrisy as they donโ€™t follow these instructions.

Additionally, there are new rules or laws given in the New Testament, not found in the Old, and it is sin to be disobedient to them. So 1 John 3:4 cannot possibly refer to just the Old Testament.

Today, believers are โ€œunder law to Christโ€ and we are to be like Him by being obedient to the instructions found in the New Testament.

Romans 14:23: "And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin."

๐Ÿ›๏ธ What do pillars do?
What does a biblical church do?

1 Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Lutheran heretics will claim that baptism saves you from hell, but the Bible never once says that. Two of their favorite verses they abuse (while disregarding the rest of Scripture) are 1 Peter 3:21 and Mark 16:16.

1 Peter 3:21: "The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:"

๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿป It literally says itโ€™s a figure.

Mark 16:16: "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿป What damns someone?? He that believeth and eats a donut will be saved also!

Baptism does not save. It is an ordinance for believers but is not part of salvation.

โ€œโ€ฆFor Christ sent me NOT to baptize, BUT to preach the gospelโ€ฆโ€
