📍پلتفرم ویدئو کنفرانس سه‌بعدی گوگل امسال عرضه می‌شود

در چند سال گذشته، گوگل در حال توسعه فناوری ویدیویی سه بعدی بوده است که به همکاران، دوستان و یا خانواده اجازه دهد تا از راه دور طوری ارتباط برقرار کنند که انگار در یک اتاق هستند.‌ نام این پروژه از Starline به Google Beam تغییر کرده است و به زودی عرضه می‌شود.

ایده این است که کاربر با یک صفحه نمایش بزرگ با تعدادی دوربین که زوایای مختلف را ثبت می‌کنند و حرکات سر را تا حد میلی‌متر با سرعت ۶۰ فریم در ثانیه ردیابی می‌کنند، روبه‌رو شود. فرد در طرف دیگر چت هم دقیقا همین شرایط را دارد.

سپس با کمک هوش مصنوعی و نمایشگرهای میدان نوری، به فید ویدیویی که معمولا دو بعدی است، عمق بیشتری داده می‌شود تا تجربه‌ی یک چت سه‌بعدی بدون نیاز به عینک مخصوص و وسایل دیگر، فراهم شود.

گوگل نوید یک تجربه‌ی مکالمه بسیار طبیعی‌تر و عمیق‌تر را با این تکنولوژی می‌دهد. برنامه این است که تا اواخر امسال این تکنولوژی با سرویس‌های ویدئو کنفرانس آشنا مثل google meet و Zoom کار کند.

This is always worth a read. In fact, maybe it should be mandatory reading for all educator leaders and policy makers. It is an interesting experiment in relevancy-checking to match the current curriculum non-negotiables with what the future requirements for our students will be. Are we equipping them for success?
