Tonight’s event — billed as the “2024 Theodor Herzl Award Dinner” — is a tribute to former U.S. ambassador Jon Huntsman, a devout Mormon who is also a genocidal Zionist, and will also honor Tal Huber, the “graphic designer” behind last year’s KIDNAPPED posters.

This is not the first time the museum has lent its space, its tacit support, and its veneer of prestige to individuals and groups that fuel Zionist terror in Palestine. MoMa’s board of trustees includes Larry Fink, the CEO of Blackrock, an asset management firm with massive investments in companies that supply the Israeli army with equipment; Daniel S. Och, a current member and former chairman of the Birthright Foundation, an organization that sends Jewish youth on free trips to “Israel” to support their indoctrination into Zionism; and Paula Crown, who has stakes in the weapons conglomerate General Dynamics, manufacturer of the MK-84 bombs that the IOF has dropped on Gaza for years.

In 2021, @strikemoma laid out the case against the museum: “MoMA was founded with the oil wealth of the Rockefellers. Since then it has been a clearing house for capital, a showcase for domination and an ecocidal machine. It has diversified in content, but in practice has been an enemy of the poor and the marginalized, the fired and the furloughed, the displaced and dispossessed, the detained and the deported, the dying and the dead.”

MoMA’s affiliations show that the museum is more closely aligned with billionaire warmongers than with working artists in New York City. Down with blood money in the arts! Down with Zionism in our institutions! Free Palestine.

📍Sarah Lawrence College, NY

An autonomous group of students have started a Gaza Solidarity Occupation in Westlands calling on the college to disclose their financial investments and divest from zionism.

The solidarity protestors intend to remain inside Dar al-Fayoumi* until Sarah Lawrence's leadership:
🔸provides tangible evidence of communication with Commonfund and establishes an urgent timeline for disclosure
🔸pledges to protect Arab and Muslim students against harassment
🔸commits to amnesty for all those involved in the occupation
🔸takes concrete steps to expand student and faculty input into decisions that impact the entire campus.

📍 CUNY Law

Queens, NY —CUNY Law Students for Justice in Palestine renamed the the administrative floor of the law school building to "Fatima's Floor" to honor Nigerian-Palestinian political prisoner Fatima Bernawi freedom fighter, the first female political prisoner held in an Israeli jail, protesting CUNY's support of the Israeli regime and its repression of Pro-Palestinian voices, calling for CUNY to honor its legal obligation to disclose its multi-million dollar investments in companies that profit from Israeli occupation, apartheid, and genocide and to divest from those companies. CUNY has invested nearly 9 million dollars in companies that support Israeli apartheid, such as weapons manufacturers and targets of the "Boycott, Divest, Sanctions" (BDS) movement.

📍University of Rochester, NY

National SJP stands with students arrested at the University of Rochester. 🤝

Four students of color at the University of Rochester were arrested for exposing administrators’ and trustees’ ties to genocide and repression. In response, the University has deployed the full arsenal of the criminal legal system to punish them. During their overnight detention, the students endured racialized intimidation and were deliberately kept in the dark about their legal status and arraignment. With $7.8M in Israel-linked investments and study abroad programs at Zionist institutions, this crackdown is not an aberration, but a deliberate strategy to crush pro-Palestine advocacy. National SJP demands all charges be dropped— silencing dissent will not inhibit our pursuit of justice.

📍Sarah Lawrence College, NY

On November 21st, students of Sarah Lawrence College occupied and barricaded our primary administrative building, known as “Westlands”. We renamed the building “Dar Al Fayoumi,” after Wadee Al Fayoumi, the six year old Palestinian boy who was stabbed to death by his family’s landlord in an instance of anti-Palestinian racist assault in Illinois in October 2023.
After 14 hours of occupation, we negotiated with administrators to gain a promise of disclosure. As part of this deal, students agreed to leave the building and gained a promise of amnesty. We established a liberated zone on the south lawn of our campus. Because of the repression from our campus administrators, we do not believe they will uphold their promise of disclosure. To pressure the university, we intend to continue our fight for divestment through our encampment. We ask for the greater community to join us in liberating our spaces and in calling for immediate disclosure of the college’s financial investments.

To those coming or looking to donate supplies, we ask that nobody buy anything new. Any money should go to Gaza. For those with spare supplies, we need tarps, tent spikes, food, and always more tents for comrades to stay in.

The encampment's demands are that Sarah Lawrence College:

🔸 provides tangible evidence of communication with Commonfund and establish an urgent timeline for disclosure

🔸 pledges to protect Arab and Muslim students against harassment

🔸 takes concrete steps to expand student and faculty input into decisions that impact the entire campus.

📍NYU, New York City

BREAKING: NYU STUDENTS LEAK AUDIO FROM A MEETING BETWEEN NYU ADMINISTRATORS AND STUDENT NEGOTIATORS IN APRIL, DURING THE SECOND GAZA SOLIDARITY ENCAMPMENT. (Link above)

“Admin promised us disclosure then. And we will get it now.”

This leak comes right after the offer made by administration to those sitting in on the 12th floor, which houses the university’s administrative offices. The offer, made by Dean of Students Rafael Rodriguez — featured in this video — was only for a meeting “in the future,” with no specifics on who or what would be involved in said meeting. We know they have the disclosure papers ready. Rodriguez said himself he could get them to us in a week. Where is the promised meeting? Where are the promised documents?

NYU, DISCLOSE NOW
