The virtue of sending ṣalāh (supplications for peace) upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday begins from sunset on the night of Jumuʿah (Thursday night) and finishes at sunset on the night of Saturday (Friday night). Moreover, sending ṣalāh upon him during the day of Friday is better than during its night (Thursday night).

تفضيل الصلاة على النبي ﷺ في الجمعة يبدأ من غروب الشمس ليلة الجمعة وينتهي بغروبها ليلة السبت، والصلاة عليه ﷺ في نهار الجمعة أفضل من ليلها

Walking behind a Janāzah and stepping through a graveyard is a powerful reminder for the one who reflects. You pass by graves of those who were 9, 17, 25 and 90, proof that death spares no one and has no age.

The angel of death comes without warning, indifferent to our plans, our dreams, or how much time we thought we had left.

As you walk, remember that one day, it will be us beneath the soil, shrouded and alone, as voices whisper, ‘I knew that brother…’

This life is but a fleeting shadow, but the Hereafter is eternal. Prepare now, for the grave is not the end—it is the beginning of the true test.”

When the doors are closed and the world is unaware, do you still guard your prayers, your speech, your eyes, and your heart?

The believer’s sincerity is not in how they appear before people, but in how they stand before Allāh in the unseen.

For on the Day of Judgment, it is not the public image that will matter, it is a sincere heart, the private moments, the hidden struggles, and the unseen deeds that will bear witness for us or against us.”

Anas ibn Mālik (رضي الله عنه):

كان المسلمون إذا دخل شعبان انكبّوا على المصاحف، فقرؤوها، وأخرجوا زكاة أموالهم تقويةً للضعيف والمسكين على صيام رمضان.

“When Sha‘bān began, the Muslims would devote themselves to the Muṣḥaf and recite it, and they would give out the Zakāh of their wealth to strengthen the weak and the needy for fasting in Ramaḍān.”
