The virtue of sending ṣalāh (supplications for peace) upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday begins from sunset on the night of Jumuʿah (Thursday night) and finishes at sunset on the night of Saturday (Friday night). Moreover, sending ṣalāh upon him during the day of Friday is better than during its night (Thursday night).

تفضيل الصلاة على النبي ﷺ في الجمعة يبدأ من غروب الشمس ليلة الجمعة وينتهي بغروبها ليلة السبت، والصلاة عليه ﷺ في نهار الجمعة أفضل من ليلها

A’isha (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"On the day of sacrifice, no deed is more beloved to Allah than the shedding of blood. The sacrifice will come on the Day of Resurrection with its horns, its wool, and its hooves. The blood reaches Allah before it touches the ground, so rejoice in it."

The Most Beloved Days to Allah

The first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah are here – and they’re more powerful than we realize!

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
“There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.”
— [Bukhari]

Think about that… Not even Ramadan beats these ten days when it comes to rewards!

Pray more. Fast if you can. Give charity. Do dhikr. Call your parents. Every act is multiplied in reward.

Even something simple like takbīr can bring mountains of reward:
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّه، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْد

The companions would say takbīr out loud everywhere—in the markets, in the streets, and after prayers. Let’s revive that sunnah!

Make a plan. These are only 10 days, but the rewards are unlimited.
