Update:
As the Director and I close out our first few months in our roles, I want to provide another update on our efforts to both reform the FBI, and hunt down bad actors.
Some of these action items you may have already read about, some you may have not.
-We are mission-focused on crushing violent crime and making your neighborhoods noticeably safer. Here are some of the early results. We have arrested 14,000 violent criminals. This represents a 62% increase from the same period last year. Many of these violent criminals are cartel leaders, and child predators, and theyβll be looking at long prison terms. We also located and apprehended three of the FBIβs top ten βmost wanted,β and we are closely tracking others. As a result, the murder rate is currently tracking to be the lowest on record. This is not a victory lap, we are doubling down hard.
-We have arrested over 825 violent child predators, and 140 human traffickers, as we aggressively pursue the filth that prey on our children. If youβre preying on our children, we are coming for you. Itβs only a matter of time.
-We warned those violently acting out in the recent riots that we would restore order, and pursue you if you chose violence. Over 700 arrests have been made in coordination with our federal and state partners. Many of those arrests are members of organized groups, and we are pouring through data in pursuit of more bad actors. We are not done.
-In conjunction with our federal partners, we apprehended, imprisoned, and deported over 18,000 illegal aliens. Many of these illegal aliens had violent criminal histories. As a result, last month, ZERO illegals were admitted into our country. We are fully engaged in this mission, and we will move around our manpower as determined by conditions in the field.
-We made numerous personnel and structural changes to the leadership of the FBI to ensure the mistakes of the past are not repeated. Those changes continue. And, as a reminder, things are happening that we cannot publicly discuss. It does not mean they are not happening.
-I will send a separate, more detailed post shortly about our arrests of multiple foreign intelligence targets engaged in illegal activities. These cases continue as we move quickly to round up these threats to our Homeland.
-We are hyper-vigilant in protecting our Homeland given the current heightened global threat environment, while we deal with our CI, criminal and other critical responsibilities.
-Thereβs more work to be done. Stay tuned on additional disclosures, and updates on public corruption cases. And again, for those who have been patient with us, thank you. For those who are out of patience, thank you too. We understand we are in a RESULTS business.

β‘οΈ In accordance with the Russian-Ukrainian agreements reached in Istanbul on 2 June, another group of Russian servicemen has been returned from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime.
A group of AFU POWs was transferred in return.
At present, all Russian servicemen are on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, where they are being provided with the necessary psychological and medical assistance.
All released servicemen will be taken to the Russian Federation for treatment and rehabilitation in medical institutions.
