He was engaged in combat operations in Pachir Wa Agam district, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan Also killed were Sgt. 1st Class Barry E. Jarvis, Staff Sgt. Curtis A. Oakes, Spc. Matthew W. Ramsey, Pfc. Jacob A. Gassen and Pfc. Austin G. Staggs. We must never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.
